We truly enjoyed our stay at the Top of the World. The place was well cared for and perfect for Family. Karine was so helpful and I highly recommend a stay. The back decks are a National Treasure.

This is a killer location to stay if you are in the mood to wake up each morning to a dramatic panorama of the Rocky Mountains. Longs Peak seems like you can reach out and touch if off the back deck. We really enjoyed our stay: comfortable accommodations, quite area, amazing view, peaceful surroundings, even hot tub (which was a hit with our daughter), a well equipped and stocked house, and Rocky Mountain National Park is basically right around the corner; also the property owners were attentive to our needs. This is a nice location if you want to be close to Estes Park, but still out of the crowds. We made this home our hub for daily excursions into the park to explore and hike. If internet access is critical for you, note that the WiFi is spotty and satellite is thin on choices, but then again, you don't come here to watch the TV. Thoroughly enjoyed our week, recommend this property, and now plan to make it a yearly destination!

This review is long overdue! We booked this place in Oct 2020 because the pictures seemed to indicate it was a lovely place. To our surprise, we found the house and the location to be FAR better! It's an older house, but very private, at a very high location which gives you some breathtaking views, right at the foot of a long beautiful hike, and yet a 10min drive to the city center. Perhaps the only peeve we had was that we wanted it to be a working holiday but the internet was at 500kbps, so we ended up tethering from our phones. So there's internet, but don't count on doing any real work with it. But the 5 stars are not for the place, although that itself would deserve the stars. There were fires raging towards the end of our stay and we were overwhelmed by the care taken by the owners to make sure we were safe. The owner's daughter was so kind - she kept a close tab on the situation, eventually asked us to leave a few hours earlier just to be safe, refunded us for the time that we did not stay at the hour, and even offered her own house for us to stay before we caught our flight! She stayed up well past midnight into the wee hours of the morning until she knew we were definitely out of harm's way. We cannot thank her enough for being so caring and kind! I highly highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful family vacation.

This house was perfect for our family. There is so much space and the living and kitchen area is open with big windows facing the mountains. The view is to die for! Beautiful mountain views!! The hot tub is a big bonus especially after hiking in the RMNP all day. We had deer, chipmunks, and rabbits in the yard. We loved it and would definitely stay there again next time we are up that way.

1st hour lower level stool plugged up & next morning went to town to buy stuff to unplug. 1st night mouse in upper living area, next day mouse in lower area - left message on Sunday night, called on Mon & Tue to property manager, about 4:00 on Wed. pest control person came & set traps by Thursday Morning had trapped four mice and the day we left Friday one more in trap - That was a big negative on our trip - The views were really nice.- the mice and plugged stool not so nice.

Top of the World was an amazing place to spend a week! Views from the upper deck were breathtaking. Although there are other homes nearby they are fairly spread out so it feels very secluded. Amenities were great, from the kitchen to the hot tub. Ten-minute drive into downtown Estes Park and then Rocky Mountain National Park. On clear nights the sky is pretty dark and good for stargazing - we got a good look at the Neowise comet. Would definitely stay here again as a base to explore RMNP.
