My group and I rented this cabin during this past New Years, and it is the second time most of us have stayed in the cabin. Everything was perfect— the large kitchen had all the utensils, equipment and appliances we needed to make dinners and breakfast together. The fireplace in the living room was so cozy and was the centerpiece for our lounging around. The deck was really nice and we loved the tree lighting outdoors at night. Basement was a perfect bonus for us with a pool table and TV available for counting down to 2019 while watching the ball drop. Location is ideal, 10 min from Wpodstock and 12-15 min from Kingston. Bruce was an amazing host and was super responsive.

The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, and very enjoyable. It was exceptionally clean upon our arrival. We did not have any problems at all. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we would have extend for another week but it was already booked. Along with beautiful cabin the agent Bruce was very hospitable and helpful. The cabin is also located in a very good location, not to far from the slopes and very close to the grocery store and shopping but far enough away to feel the relaxation of nature. Before we left we were planning another trip there. Awesome time and awesome place.

Our family of four (two small kids) loved our weekend here. Plenty of space to spread out and run around, including the incredible second-story deck. We will definitely be back!

This attractive cabin was cozy, quiet and met all of our needs with just one exception: a second shower would have been nice (but not a deal breaker). The cabin is hidden from the road for great privacy and in a very quiet area. You are surrounded by woods yet are just a few miles away from shopping, restaurants, etc. The kitchen is open and roomy and the patio is large and comfortable. We didn't use the firepit but it's a wonderful asset to have. The main bedroom is comfortable and the whole cabin has many windows to let in lots of natural light. The cabin could use some dressers for clothing. The person cave downstairs has a large tv and pool table. Perfect for the two of us and we will be returning in a month.

This was our first rental up in the Catskills and will definitely go back just for this house alone! Very spacious and the deck is a great place to hang out at all times even in the pouring rain. The kitchen is incredible!! We cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the house! All utensils, pots, pans, and plates are high quality. All spices and oils were there and we left some too. Tons of counter space and a huge dining room table. Also a charcoal grill that was clean! Great shopping food at Adams market and all local farmers markets with quality organic products. The house was very clean and all beds and bedding very comfortable. Tons of sheets and pillows. They have a great theater room downstairs with cable and WiFi throughout the house. Laundry room with detergent and dryer sheets was also a big plus. The fire pit was awsome and the yard was in great shape. We hiked the woods right off the property line.also went to Platte Cove preserve and hike the waterfall, which was easy and totally awesome!! There are no negative aspects of this house!!! We were amazed at how great of a rental this was. Bruce the manager checked on us every day to see if we needed anything. He also got back to us in minutes when we had a question. Five star rental for sure!!! We couldn’t have picked a nicer place. 3 of us stayed here and we had visitors a couple days and they were all amazed with the place. Rent this house you will love it!!! ~c

Stayed for a long 3 day weekend this past week. Bruce, property manager, was absolutely wonderful to work with. We have rented vacation homes for past 20+ years and this might be the best , most tranquil, relaxing and bang for the buck of any of the homes. The pictures are excellent , but the house is even better than the pictures portray. A fabulous vacation getaway in the mid-Hudson River Valley. We were located a short 10-15 minute drive to the towns of Woodstock, Saugerties, Kingston, and Rhinebeck for antiques, food/restaurants, shops, etc. For sightseeing or entertainment, it's close proximity to Wineries & Vineyards, Distilleries, and Brew Pubs/Micro Breweries provide much to do. One of the best features of the location is it's close proximity to the Kingston-Rhinecliffe bridge. If you check the map, and know the area - - - bridges crossing over the Hudson to cross from one side to the other are few and far between. The bridge to cross over the mid-Hudson River is only 15 minutes away via Route #199 in Kingston, home of many restaurants, shopping. A few short miles south of Kingston takes you to Rhinebeck. Many fine restaurants dot the landscape along Main Street of Rhinebeck, and highly recommend many restaurants there. The bridge alternatives are travelling 50 miles north or south. A GREAT location for traversing both the east bank of the Hudson (Dutchess Wine Trail / Hudson Beverage Trail), or the wineries on the west bank (Shawangunk Wine Trail) to the south, Angry Orchard, Orange County Choppers further south! The home is inviting, quiet, with a fabulous amenities, great porch and backyard area, and the fire pit was delightful. I would highly recommend this home and in fact, will be booking it shortly for another weekend. KUDOS to the owner for her thought in construction of the log house, and to Bruce for his care in booking and delivering on a fine experience. The Kitchen is well equipped, living room, bedrooms and downstairs immaculate and showroom quality. The downstairs pool table is top notch, and plenty of room to relax. An absolute gem of a vacation rental home!!

We arrived to the beautiful cabin and it is exactly as it is described. We happened to book the cabin during a major heat wave in the NE. The inside was warm and we had initial trouble cooling things and we reached out to Bruce who responded immediately both in emails and coming to the cabin. We were able to get things cooler and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. The porch is fantastic. Kitchen fully stocked to cook and a great TV room where we watched the World Cup. Only thing wrong is that we should have stayed longer. Great family memories.
