Woodland lodge 1/4 mile from Terry Peak with private hot tub, firepit, fireplace

The cabin was perfectly arranged for our Son and grandson having their own space from us and kitchen was well stocked. Super close to Terry Peak where they spent most of their time. There is a weird whistling sound in the mechanical room coming from the hot water heater we think and it is loud enough to wake you up in the night. Overall everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay! Also the game room and hot tub was a bonus!!!

The house was in a great location, easy to get to, and perfect for families! The home was clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and even spices and coffee. Plenty of towels, blankets, and amenities! We would absolutely stay here again!

The rental was centrally located for our planned sightseeing. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. And a pleasant surprise to see that the counter height table and chairs in the dining area had been replaced with a traditional table and seating. The house was very clean and the beds were all very comfortable. We would definitely stay at Lost Buffalo Lodge again.

Here’s a quick, positive post you could use: --- We just wrapped up an amazing stay at the cabin last week, and I can’t say enough about how relaxing and peaceful it was! The views were breathtaking, the air was fresh, and every morning started with coffee on the porch listening to nature. The cabin had everything we needed—cozy, clean, and perfectly tucked away for some much-needed downtime. Already counting the days until we can go back!

Very clean, plenty of room for our family of 8. Well stocked kitchen and lots of games and things to do. Also the mattresses were very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the location and the parking was perfect. We had two trucks with 24” trailers, one car and 4 side by sides (utvs). Everything fit perfectly. Quiet safe neighborhood. We would stay again!

Cute house that worked for our needs. The hot tub was a nice touch.

The house was wonderfully furnished with plenty of beds, linens, extra blankets, fans (thank you!!!), as well as spices and coffee and tea options— simply wonderful. The home is cared for well & is comfortable for large families. The area, at least when we stayed in May, was very quiet and private. There were a couple of constructive feedback items we have regarding cleanliness — 1) The garbage can in the garage had several alcohol containers left in it. Easy enough to dispose of before new guests arrive 2) There were beer cans strewn about the lawn next to the hot tub from previous guests. 3) The sponge used to clean the kitchen had black residue on it & was left on the counter. Easy enough to get a new one or rinse out the sponge for future use. We had several small children & my mother, who is a recovering alcoholic with us, & all the leftover alcohol-related items were off putting & distasteful. Overall, however, it was perfect for our needs & more than accommodating. Beautiful home nestled in the Black Hills.

Great location. Hot tub was hot and clean. Well stocked kitchen. Good amount of amenities including extra linens and towels. Garage is setup for games which was nice. Does have keurig in kitchen. Only complaint was squeaky whine noise in basement when water was used in house.

Space for everyone on two levels. Kitchen fully equipped plus more. Great to have washer/drier.

The house was great for our size family. We were UTV riding and it was fantastic having a garage. Biggest disappointment was our hot tub not working. My family was bummed. Our vacation rep was aware ahead of time and never told us. That stunk. I would try a different house next time.
