We had a great time in this beautiful house! The home was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. Budi was responsive, kind and helpful. Everything was a 5 star experience!

Great property and super clean! Plenty of extra towels and everything we needed, which is always appreciated. The hot tub and clubhouse pool were wonderful. Be aware that many of the upper windows do not have shades so you will get blasted with sun at times and not have as much privacy as you may like. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay! Lots of room and close to so many fun things. Love the hot tub and if course the walk to the pool was a plus! Very clean!!!

There were many families at other cabins in the area but it was still a quiet, peaceful location. The property manager was available if needed - although we did not need anything. We enjoyed a couple of nights at the Clubhouse - pool, pool table, and shuffle board were fun for our boys ages 16, 15, 12, and 9. Close to grocery store, coffee shops, and bar/restaurants in Lead and Deadwood. Scenic drive everywhere you go. We would all definitely recommend this rental to any family or friends!

We had an issue with the AC freezing up from running too much in the heat and the owners came right over and fixed it. Plenty of cookware, towels, and start up necessities. This rental is in close proximity to historic Deadwood, 1.5 hours to Mount Rushmore via the scenic route.

Super clean and extremely comfortable, this property is very well thought out. The hot tub and patio were nice, the deck was awesome to relax on. The heated pool was very comfortable, relaxing and after a swim we enjoyed one of the gas firepits. Happy trails has all the amenities that you need and then some. All you need to bring with you is your clothes and food, the rest is there. Book it. You'll be glad you did. Just don't take one of my weeks as I am going back for sure.

Our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids/teens) stayed here for 3 nights. This property was very clean and EXTREMELY WELL STOCKED. The kitchen has every gadget/appliance needed. We usually made breakfast and dinner here and had everything we needed to make delicious meals. The kids LOVED the bunkroom and we all enjoyed the ping-pong table. The house was very clean. We enjoyed using the clubhouse pool one afternoon. The location is very convenient to explore the northern Black Hills area. The only minor complaint was the the loft room got very bright in the morning. We all loved this location.

Our adult children, their spouses, and 4 grandchildren (ages 3-7) all stayed at Happy Trails for a week long family vacation. Happy Trails was great for our crew, and we really enjoyed and appreciated the pool/club house area.

The house worked great for our group. The kids loved the ping pong table and bean bag toss in the garage and the hot tub. It was very well furnished with dishes and cooking utensils. Also lots of towels. The only negative comment is that the upstairs bedroom did not have any shades or curtains. It was hard to sleep with the lightness. The club house pool was very crowded and the kids did not enjoy that.
