Stayed Nov 9, 2025If you have pets, be aware there is a cat who they say is a neighborhood cat but basically lives there. This was not in the description and we stayed with our cats and dog. Our pets and that cat were very stressed during our stay, unfortunately. There was also an alarm incident where we did not have the code to turn it off, and no one could get a hold of the owner for multiple hours. Police came. Every time a door or even a window opened the alarm went off and police were notified. The place was nice enough but there are things that could definitely beimproved. Like adding that there is a cat on the premises in the description.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the East Tabor home in Portland. It easily ticked off all the boxes on our checklist and was comfortable and accommodating for our family of four. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a locally made bottle of wine, setting the tone for a great Portland experience. The kitchen was thoroughly stocked with every cooking tool we needed, which allowed us to enjoy homemade breakfasts and dinners. Its proximity to the freeway provided us with easy access to downtown Portland. If you like the outdoors there are great parks in Portland. From hikes in Forest Park to the rose garden in Washington Park. I needed to do some work during our stay and appreciated the strong and reliable Wi-Fi throughout the house. For our children, the punching bag in the exercise room and pool table provided plenty of entertainment, so much so that the huge TV in the living room stayed off. Though we didn't get a chance to try it, the sauna, found behind the folding doors at the bottom of the stairs, is worth mentioning. There is also a washer and dryer by the sauna that we were happy to have. The home also had an outdoor BBQ, a downstairs fridge, and a wet bar, making it an excellent choice for two couples. We look forward to a future stay with family or friends! :)
