Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Situated in Blackey Cove, private, quiet with low boating traffic. Close to Center Harbor for groceries, hardware stores and boat rentals. Beautiful beach with graduated depths perfect for children. Also a float for swimming to, jumping from and sunbathing. The cottage is spacious and provides a nostalgic rustic summer cottage feel. There is ample grassy frontage and a fire pit table. Window air conditioners and ceiling fans for comfort which were needed during our very hot week in August. Screened porch provided opportunity for listening to the loon and barred owl in the evening! Ample parking are for our four families and two boat trailers. The owner was responsive when needed during our stay.

Last week we had many exciting events that happened on vacation, first, my nephew ended up proposing to his girlfriend at Castle in the Clouds and we had a baptism of my daughter's boyfriend and my granddaughter right in the lake! I know that the owner is on the premises but honestly we never seen him (wish we did we would have had him join us for guitar playing on the porch) This is truly a gem. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful rental

The house is at a great location, but was much rougher than imagined. We would like to vacation on the lake again, but would not stay at the same property. The owners introduced themselves, and they are very nice. I would recommend investing in a handyman for some maintenance. Property mgt staff were great.

We had a fire at night great for evening smores. We had a pontoon boat that was very easy to pull in. Plenty of evening sun with a gorgeous sun set. I would highly recommend this diamond in the ruff. The gradual sandy beach and shallow swimming area were perfect for our family and we appreciated the air conditioning during our very hot, humid stay. The location is on a quiet cove and had great areas to explore by paddle board and kayaks.

My only negative would be the dock needs some maintenance & the entire house is carpet (although clean).

We cleaned it to make usable. Several lights in house needed new bulbs to work. Sink faucets in one bathroom were caked with dryed soap. Water leaks around some windows facing lake during rain storm. With those items fixed, I would rent it again.
