The master bedroom has a large ensuite bathroom and there is the family bathroom and shower room on the ground floor. The garden is enclosed with outside dining & seating

Stayed Oct 26, 2024We visit Rye with my siblings, kids and dogs every year and have always longed to stay at Whitefriars and it didn’t disappoint! Lovely cosy family feeling, excellent powerful showers, brilliantly equipped kitchen (we did a lot of cooking and there wasn’t anything we couldn’t find) and of course an unbeatable location. Communication with Jacqui was brilliant and an early check in was facilitated which was super helpful.

Stayed Dec 22, 2022Utterly charming, elegant and sizeable historic house was perfect to host our large family Christmas. Fantastic location in Rye citadel; walk to everything. 3 parking spaces unheard of in Rye! Incredibly well equipped in the kitchen, including a table that expands to comfortably fit 12. Three bathrooms with plenty of hot water and power showers. Two lounges provided lots of options for our multi-generational Christmas. Ample heating throughout. We were thrilled and would stay again in a heart beat.

Stayed Sep 4, 2022Great place - unfortunately a family member's health deteriorated suddenly and we were forced to go home after one night. I hope we can return at some point.

Stayed Dec 11, 2021My wife, myself and my elderly mother in law stayed for a week. The house was in a great location with plenty of easy parking. The property was full of character with lots of space. The kitchen was well equipped and the TV a good size. There was a delightful enclosed rear garden although being December we didn't use this much. I would definitely stay again at this property and would recommend it to other travellers.
