Stayed Oct 7, 2021This is tough to review..there was no communication. I sent messages, made calls & sent texts to get a late check in that were not returned. There is only a 1 hour check in window (4-5 pm). Luckily I had received the door key code via email but we had to park with no parking pass. Unit also stated there was a washer/dryer in the amenities which there is not. The place itself was cute, fairly newly renovated and laid out well for our family of 4. It was also a very short, easy walk to the beach and a little shopping/dining area.

Stayed Dec 24, 2025Our family had a nice stay at your Isle of Palms condo. The location is amazing and the condo was just what we needed for our family of four.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025We enjoyed our stay even though it was a very rainy weekend. Nice place with comfortable beds, hot showers, and anything you would need available. The door lock is a little tricky. It is a long code and you have to be quick typing it in. Would stay here again.

Stayed Sep 1, 2025The location was great. While the property could be great also it needed much work. There were holes in walls and bedroom door didn’t close among other things. I would suggest bringing your own pillows at pillows are flat as pancakes!! While I appreciate the keyless entry you had to enter the code three or four times before the door would open. Property was very clean. Just needs renovated.

Stayed Jul 20, 2025Honestly, it was okay. Location was great, many things to do in the area within walking distance. Older unit, not really an ocean view. Doors would not shut. Washer/dryer was not really available, needed to go across the main road to laundry mat. Internet was spotty. Door code was way too long.

Stayed Mar 6, 2025The location of the condo couldn’t have been better - you walk out and literally to the right is the Main Street of IOP with all restaurants and shops. The location of the private pier and beach directly across the street was also ideal! We visited in off season so it was not busy at all. The condo was clean and everything we needed was provided. I would recommend that the owners put up new curtains in the second bedroom though, as they are very thin and light does come in. We brought our own pack and play and slumber pod for our toddler so the light wasn’t as much of an issue, but it may be for some. We would come back and stay again - easy parking, instructions to check in and check out.

Stayed Sep 9, 2024Walk out of the parking lot, cross the street and you have access to the private fishing pier - which is a great pier. Loved sitting and feeling the breeze there. Also private access to the beach. You really can see the ocean from the balcony here and sunrise is pretty great from the balcony as well. We found everything to be comfortable. No problems at all. You have 3 flights of stairs to climb but you get used to it pretty fast. Regular coffee maker - bring your own filters. Meals out are pretty expensive. If we return we'll cook some meals in. The kitchen is very nice. You can walk down palm lined streets to good restaurants. Coconut Joe's exceeded our expectations and is right on the beach. Papi's tacos was really good. The pool was great and you can see it off the balcony. Very small complex in a great location. Bring your own beach chairs and umbrellas. And the grills are ones you would find in a camp ground. Bring your own charcoal? Not gas and are in the parking lot right by green transformer boxes. So in my view, you really don't have a grill unless I missed something. We weren't grilling so it was okay. No washer dryer in unit. That was okay too. We would come back for sure.

Stayed Aug 5, 2024Property is amazing and a great value for the price. Location is amazing. Vacasa manages this property and they are TERRIBLE. A tropical storm hit during our stay which ruined it. Before we arrived I was contacted by Vacasa saying that the local office would be closed during my stay due to the storm. Given that the Vacasa office is literally across the street from this property, I was naturally concerned. I tried contacting Vacasa and was unable to talk to anyone in the local office. Naturally I had questions about whether the property was accessible given the local Vacasa office employees wouldn't even drive to the area during the storm. I was directed to a non american off short customer service person and to say the person had no answers was an understatement. The text message I got from Vacasa was basically a storm is coming we are leaving town good luck! message that was the WORST message you could send to people in such a situation. I was not going to write a review but honestly I keep getting email reminders asking for a review and I'm only doing this to stop those reminders from reminding of me about this horrible vacation. I don't fault the owners at all, my gripe is with Vacasa which is legit a 1 start vacation rental company. Do not rent any of their properties, do not let them manage your rentals. Check out their horrible 2 star google reviews for that local office like I should have ahead of time.

Stayed Jul 6, 2024Loved the convenience of the location. Very walkable, beach access, pool, and Target just across the bridge. Cleaners do need to pay more attention to detail—baseboards in bathroom were covered in hair and lint, and trashcan had crackers and cheese in the boot tray behind it. They offered to come back and clean but that would have been inconvenient. We also had pest control show up and do some spraying, but he left before we could mention the bug we saw. I’ve stayed in worse places, just have to note since I’m a neat freak. If cleaners do better with crumbs, I’d give it 5 stars!
