This place is fantastic!! Highly recommended. The home was spotless when we checked in. It is super close to the beach and has lots of thoughtful touches that clearly show the owners of this home want the guests to enjoy the stay. I hope we can visit again!

Our family has been coming to Folly for the past 30 years and we really like staying as close to the ocean as possible. This house is in a fantastic location. We were right across the street from the beach access and could easily see and hear the water from the porch. We loved sitting on the spacious deck, part of which is covered, which was convenient. The yard is huge, parking is ample (enough for at least 4 cars), the house was clean and pretty. AC worked great, including in the enclosed side porch. We absolutely loved staying here and would stay here again in a heartbeat. It is an older home and is multi-level, so keep that in mind if anyone has mobility issues. We could think of nothing lacking! Great vacation!

Great house, close to beach and Center St. House has everything you need. Would rent again.

Just returned from an awesome week at Swell Cottage. Located right across the street from the beach and an easy walk to downtown restaurants. It was clean and had everything we needed. Would totally recommend.

This property did not disappoint. It was perfect space for our family of 3 couples. View of ocean from relaxing porch areas. Easy walk to the sand. Short walk to downtown for dinners.

We loved the house! Conveniently located just a few steps from the beach, and so many restaurants on Folly. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. Owners responded to all of our questions, and check in was easy! We would definitely come back!

Family of 5 staying at the Swell Cottage. More than enough space with a surprise loft we were not aware of. Short 1 minute walk to the beach. Stunning views from the patio, comfortable furniture, great AC in the summertime, and plenty of kitchen appliances/grill. We couldn’t say enough great things about this place!

This house was amazing!! Easy 10 min walk to everything, right across from the beach, and had everything you'd need for a vacation (sunscreen, beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, etc.)

We had an amazing stay at the Swell Cottage. Everything was better than advertised. The location was perfect - just steps from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of space for our family of 7. The beach amenities (chairs, umbrellas, boards, toys, mats, cooler etc.) made our beach vacation seamless. This was the first time we didn’t have to buy or rent things for the week. Lynn communicated everything clearly and was so geneelus. We can’t wait to return next year!

We used this house for a girls trip and it was perfect. It would also be great for a family. Plenty of room and perfect location.

Basically every review on this house is exceptional, and with good reason. It’s the perfect beach house for a getaway with kids..the ocean is steps away, restaurants are down the street and the house is exactly as advertised. Lynn is very easy to work with, and we had zero complaints. Stay here if you can.

Our family had an amazing time spending our Christmas at Folly Beach. The house had lots of space for our party of 7 and was in an amazing location close to the beach and was walkable to downtown. The house was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities. The host Lynn was a very responsive host and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this beach house and our family hopes to return again one day in the future.

My family was able to enjoy an amazing, relaxing Thanksgiving during a tough time for us. This home made things relaxing, it made it easy for everyone to have their own space, and more importantly it was PEACEFUL!!!! Lynn was super responsive and communicative throughout the booking process!!

This house was perfect for us, we have 2 small babies so being able to walk back and forth from the house to the beach was so convenient. We loved sitting on the porch and watch the ocean as we drank our coffee every morning. The house was so comfortable for our family, we had an amazing time. It was hot so the walk downtown was a little uncomfortable but we did it with several small children and it was doable. Would highly recommended this house for anyone looking for a nice beach vacation

We had an amazing stay at Swell Cottage! Traveling with my 80 year old father so easy access to the beach was essential and it was just steps away from the house! Also very easy to walk to shops and restaurants which we did almost daily. The location was also easy to shoot into Charleston for added adventures. The house was so charming and plenty of room for our group (3 adults and 2 tweens). More than enough space and additional hang out space on the outside porch. The owners are amazing and provide everything to help make your stay great - beach chairs, boogie boards, beach cart, beach toys, mats, umbrellas- it was all there to utilize and all in great shape! We will definitely be back!

We loved everything about this place! It was perfect! Great location. Plenty of room. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Comfortable beds. Loved the patio! Decor was so cute! It had everything we could possibly need. We loved our weekend here and can’t wait to come back!

This house is fantastic! Everything is so walkable & with 5 of us, there was plenty of space. This house has everything you need for a beach vacation - chairs, cooler, tents, games, surf board, boogie boards, and a beach wagon. Restaurants & shops a short walk away. We will be back!!
