Welcome to Serenity Woods

Everything you need was in this house. It was well equipped in the kitchen, they had it decorated for Christmas for us, which we all appreciated. The games in the basement where where we all pretty much hung out, the kids really loved the guitar hero, Xbox games and the adults do too plus the darts and foosball table and the air hockey. We played a few games that they had in their cabinet. We got to enjoy tubing and skiing and snowboarding at the hideout ski resort and sledding down the hill across from the clubhouse. It was our family reunion week and two of our family members had never seen snow before, we had plenty of it, which was great. It is a very comfortable home, very clean and the owners were very attentive to every detail and communicated with us throughout the months before and the week of. I would highly recommend this rental house. 5 Stars

This house is perfect! It’s comfortable, decorated nicely and was more than enough room for us. I highly recommend staying here. We plan to come back to the area and will definitely book this house again! We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Serenity House. We loved the woodsy and peaceful setting and the screened in porch. The house was clean, with great kitchen items (dishes, pots and pans). The bedrooms were comfortable and cool. My family had fun playing Rock Band. The only concern was the lack of AC in the main living area which became hot during the peak heat times. We appreciated the ID tags that provided entry into the amenities.

The house was super clean, and decorated so beautifully! Everything was explained thoroughly by the owners. Out of all the vacation houses we rented before, Matt’s house was the cleanest, even to the dishes. The views from the huge living room windows are absolutely stunning. It was raining/snowing when we stayed but we got to enjoy the house! The heating works great, my family stayed in the lower level but it was very warm. We hope to come back in the summertime! This is our 3rd stay at the Hideout and we just cannot love it more! The community has so much to do inside it, let alone options nearby Matt and Wendy’s home was so warm and welcoming. We stayed for a week and for a family of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids aged 7-11) the house was exactly what we needed! It was fully stocked with games, cooking basics, etc We had to reach out to Matt and Wendy during our stay and they were very prompt in response. Thanks so much for opening your home for us!

The home was lovely. We were initially concerned about the lack of central air, but the shaded area, window unit air conditioners and fans were fine. We felt that the amenities of the community were over-stated. The mini golf and arcade were under whelming and the need to drive everywhere was inconvenient. Also, we attempted to use the main pool twice but were not able to find parking either time. We did visit the North Pool which was fine, but were told we could not bring snacks with us. Overall, we had a lovely stay. The home was lovely and we appreciated how many games/activities were included. Thank you.

Most fully stocked location of any rental I’ve ever stayed! We enjoyed all the community’s resources (beach, pool, sports options) along with having plenty to do at the house itself. The bedrooms worked well for our 6 adults and a little one. We had everything we needed. Only one wish is that the basement bedroom could be cooled down a bit more. Otherwise highly recommend for families.

We had an excellent week at Serenity Woods! There was something to do for all ages! Being able to go back and forth from the South Pool to the beach was so nice! I do want to mention we were nervous about there being no central AC and it being mid-summer, but with the window units and many fans provided it was not an issue at all! We were nice and cool all week! Matt was super helpful with any questions we had and tips for things to do off the property!
