Centrally located in the Wallenpaupack Lake Estates community, you will be immediately charmed by your wooded surroundings. Step inside this spacious home to be greeted by gleaming hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings and massive wall of windows. Filled with natural light, the main level living area has an open layoutthat is ideal for spending time with family and friends. Get cozy by the gas fireplace in the great room to watch TV with the kids or to make a toast with that special someone. Make home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen that features granite counters and stainless steel appliances. When it is time to dine, there is plenty of seating at the kitchen island and the table. Plus, sliding doors give you access to the deck for afternoon cookouts. The main level primary suite is a private haven furnished with a king bed and TV. Wood accents add a touch of warmth that creates the perfect ambiance for a mountain escape. Your private bath offers a dual vanity and roomy, tile shower stall. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms, one with a king and one with two queen beds that share a bath. They are tastefully decorated with a good night's sleep in mind. You will awake refreshed and ready to tackle a fun day at the lake. For a fun evening at home, head to the lower level family room. Lots of seating options give everyone a good view of the wall-mounted TV when you want to watch football or a favorite movie. Enjoy telling big fish stories around the bar area or play arcade games on the two arcade machines. Two more bedrooms each with king beds and a full bathroom with massive walk in tile shower, round out this 5 bedroom luxury home. Each morning, you can sip coffee on the large deck as you contemplate your plans for the day. Enjoy meals with the family in the evenings and relax by the gas firepit or you can take a dip in the bubbling hot tub that is sure to relax.

Although this house overlooks the great Lake Wallenpaupack, there is NO DIRECT ACCESS TO THE LAKE and NO DOCK, however, Wallenpaupack Lake Estates is a non gated amenity filled community that allows you to enjoy the two outdoor pools, playgrounds, ball fields, fishing lakes, tennis/basketball courts, indoor pool and lots of roads to walk or bike. 10 amenity badges are included in the rental for use of the amenities. Hamlin and Hawley are just a 20 minute ride where you will find restaurants, shopping and lots of recreational options. Hike along Shuman Point or take the kids to see the animals at the Claws and Paws Animal Park, miniature golf at Costa's Family Fun Park or explore any of the State Parks in the area.

GUEST ACCESS
Access to the property is contactless by keyless entry. Our Digital Welcome Guide is a complete guide to your arrival, stay and departure for your rental home. The Welcome Guide is sent when the required forms and information is received.
Guests have access to the whole house. Locked closets/areas are as follows: Utility Room in Basement.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over.
This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements.

WHO WE ARE
This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt.
Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.

Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise.

Parking is available for up to 5 cars.

Day Guests are limited to 5 people over the 12 allowed for overnight guests.

LAKE INFO
Although this house has wonderful views of Lake Wallenpaupack, there is no direct access to the lake from the property. However, Wallenpaupack Lake Estates has a community access with dock are where you can swim and fish, drop off or pick up guests from a boat you may want to rent from one of the many local marina's. The Community also has two smaller non motorboating lakes that you can swim/kayak/fish.

HOUSE RULES
No Smoking and No Pets. NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns.
Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.

    Words cant describe how much we all loved this property. Not only was the house gorgeous, but it was the nicest and most well stocked home we have ever stayed. We basically didnt need a thing.The owners of this property and the managers of it out did themselves on making sure that families are welcomed and feel at home. The kitchen was phenomenal, the decor was super cute, the bedrooms were huge! The views of the lake we're amazing. Whether you were on the deck, or the sitting area under the deck, it was so inviting to be outside. The hot tub in the snow was cherry on the cake. Very well maintained and property contact woman was so so nice, accommodating, prompt, and made it very easy to communicate with. We CANNOT wait to book again. My fiancé and I are very anxious to maybe even rent it out with other friends and family that were not on this trip, just to share it with them. Thank you so much for a wonderful and forever memorable weekend!

    Great location if you are going to be using a boat on the lake. Although not “lakefront”, you can walk down to the community marina to load and unload passengers and belongings. No “yard” per se, but a nice deck with living area/table and hot tub. The fire pit area was really nice. The house sits between two roads; the road at the back of the house leads up the hill from the marina and can be a bit noisy when cars and trucks retrieve their boats at the end of the day. But otherwise it is fairly quiet. The common area of the house is great for entertaining. The bottom floor is nice for entertaining/game area. Nice sized rooms. Neat, clean, comfortable. Highly recommended. Would rent again without hesitation.

    Our stay at the Black Bear Lodge was amazing for every member of our family from teenagers to grandparents. The house offered so many spaces for everyone to enjoy from playing games to taking in the view of the lake from the deck or hammock chairs to lounging in chairs around the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen area and appliances allowed us to enjoy many meals with plenty of dining spaces. The rooms and living areas were so comfortable and provided more than enough space for our large family. The house was beautifully decorated and had so many extras to make our experience special.
