Welcome to BIS BALD!, your Oceanfront Escape on BHI!

This is a lovely house in a lovely location. The owners are fantastically helpful with information and amazingly responsive to some questions that we had. The layout of the main floor is very conducive to family gatherings; the dining room table is nicely located in its own nook.

This home is so spacious and very well equipped in the kitchen and all other areas in the house and garage. Our host, Lauren, was so gracious and responsive whenever we contacted her. That is very much appreciated because it’s not always the case in other places. We loved our time in BisBald, especially being able to see the sunrise and sunset every day right there, a very short walk to the beach.

House was perfect for our extended family. Well stocked with anything you could imagine needing and it’s clear the host is thinking about the guests.

We loved everything about this house. We have been coming her for 5 years now and we always bring some of our own kitchen supplies. We bring sharp knives, our favorite pans and utensils etc. we could have left it all home. Lauren, our host would answer any questions that we had in just a couple of minutes. I would recommend the house to anyone.

Bis Bald was truly perfect in every way. The location on South Beach was ideal and the winds were in our favor with every day a total glassy and calm ocean. Lauren (the owner and property manager) was responsive and communicative immediately when needed, which wasn’t often since the place had everything. The house itself was updated, super clean and the decor was wonderful. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had the best week at Bis Bald! The house was the best we have stayed in on BHI. Lauren was so wonderful and a truly excellent communicator. The location is unbeatable-- central AND on the beach!! Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay here! The host was incredibly accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The home was in a great location and had everything our family needed for a comfortable and fun vacation. Property was beautiful and very clean. Perfect for our family. We can’t wait to return!

Our stay at this home was outstanding. The host was extremely responsive and she was available throughout our vacation. The location right on the beach cannot be beat. We had six adults and one infant. The house was well stocked with a pack and play for the infant, board games, baking supplies, etc. we are already planning our next trip back!

Great location. Plenty of room to spread out. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of games, books and outdoor play. Wonderful for large families.

Our extended family of 7 adults had a wonderful week on BHI. The house has a terrific location just steps from the beach. The rooms were spacious with great views and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Lauren was very responsive and the check in was a breeze. We definitely look forward to returning to BIS BALD.

Had an awesome stay in a beautiful house.

This was our first time in BH over the Winter break and we loved it. Wonderful to be right on South beach. There were a few details in the house that needed attention, but the owners were very attentive and communication was great. Thanks for a great stay in the off season!

My husband and I took my mom away for a beach weekend “do-over” after she had a terrible trip with friends a couple months ago. So we had high expectations for making everything perfect and spoiling my mom! This house was ideal in every way for a quiet weekend on BHI. We woke up every morning and headed straight to the beach for a peaceful walk. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. There were also beach chairs, bikes, and two golf carts. Everything about the house was in great condition and exactly as advertised. Lauren was a dream host - super responsive and gave us great tips about the island. We can’t wait to come back!

The location and the house are quintessential BHI - cozy, inviting and perfect in a shabby chic way. The best part of the house IMO is the large open kitchen-dining-living area with couches and chairs that eat you up and create the perfect place to unwind with a book and glass of wine after a day trekking around the island. The porches are fabulous for watching the sunrise, sunset and everything in between. Should you decide to go to the beach, just walk right out the back door and you're maybe 100 feet from the sand dunes. Highly recommend coming here to unwind and return to a peaceful bliss, whether with friends, family or even just solo. It's truly a wonderful beachy oasis. Bis Bald!

This was our fourth visit to BHI. We will definitely be back and hope to stay at Bis Bald again. The property was clean and as described; in a great location at beach access 30 with plenty of bedrooms and common space to share. The booking and check-in processes were a breeze.
