Great place for a large group! Super clean and everything we needed in rooms, kitchen, house in general. Wonderful location with quick walk to beach and 4 large golf carts to get anywhere you want with your big crowd.

Lovely part of Bald Head Island where this house is located and close to the Shoals Club for a guest membership. The owners have thought of everything and are so very responsive. The owners, Annemarie and John, have taken the vacation home rental experience to a new level. Everything about our week in this property is a testament to their construction planning, decoration, furnishings, stocking of supplies, and their hands on management of our experience. Perfect location near the beach and Shoals Club. Wonderful setting and atmosphere for a family gathering!

One of the best properties we’ve been to. The layout of the house was perfect. Amenities to include the 6 seat golf carts, appliances, kitchen wares were all top notch.

This house was ideal for an extended family and was well equipped for cooking meals for a group and allowing space for everyone.

Second time staying in one of the two homes hosted by the owners. Stayed at the larger/newer home this time. Lots of ammenities, lots of porches/decks to use and a fully supplied kitchen. Each bedroom had a bathroom with a shower. Close to the water and we had the use of 4 new golf carts. Great stay for all of us.

We recently had the pleasure of spending our Thanksgiving holiday on Bald Head Island, and our stay at the Vrbo property was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm and beauty of the island, and our accommodation played a significant role in making our vacation truly memorable. The house was not only spacious and well-appointed but also impeccably clean, making us feel right at home. The open layout of the living area allowed our family to gather comfortably. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving feast, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the space feel welcoming. One of the highlights of the property was the outdoor space. The deck provided a perfect spot for enjoying our morning coffee while taking in the serene surroundings. We also took advantage of the grill which we used to make our turkey. The bedrooms were cozy and well-designed, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings did not go unnoticed, and we appreciated the effort put into creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Our stay at A Shore thing was amazing! The house was perfect for our large family. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. The house was beautiful and very clean. John and Annmarie were great hosts and very responsive. We definitely would book this house again if we make it back to Bald Head Island.
