Waterfront Seneca Lake House: Fire Pit + Boat Dock

Rooms were jut ok, not charm whatsoever to this house.Basement had mold and leaks.. the house is not well maintained.Hot tub was dirty.... would never get in it.

Absolutely amazing weekend in the finger lakes! The house was absolutely amazing and exactly what we needed. The area is absolutely gorgeous and we plan on coming back soon.

Had a wonderful stay! Would be even better if a couple of kayaks were made available to better enjoy the lake, but maybe that's an extra liability. We had a great time and the house was clean and well equipped. Good response time with owner when needed.

The lakefront location is great! The stairs to get down to entrance of property are somewhat difficult but was disclosed. Parking situation not ideal due to close proximity to railroad tracks. Access to town and other finger lake activities was great. Rented a pontoon boat and docked it at property which was great. Hot tub was nice and working. Furniture outdated and different than the listing photos . Bathrooms need completely redone. Mold and mildew in each. Saucepan full of water discovered under bathroom sink off kitchen but owners were responsive which reached out about it. Kitchen pots and pans were old and just not clean. Dishwasher did work. Washer and dryer were marginal. Entire exterior was rather dirty with lots of cobwebs/ spiders and needs power washed. We enjoyed our time in the region, but would not come back to this property.

Lovely lake! Great long dock! Great for kids over 4 or 5 (tons of stairs at this house!). Spacious house. Room for kids to play and for adults to converse. House was clean and was pleasantly furnished. Windows were not clean and pots and pans need to be replaced (many were badly scratched teflon- we bought our own cast iron frying pan). Swimming shoes are a must! We brought 4 kayaks and there was room with no problem. Outside decks were plastered with spiders and webs. Not enough towel racks and hard to keep the towels they provided fresh for a whole week unless you hung them on the spider webs. But we enjoyed the house and loved the lake and it is conveniently location near many local attractions.

Great for family gatherings

We visited Harmony Beach during HWS commencement. It’s a great location eight minutes away from campus. The views of Senegal Lake are amazing. The home itself needs a little bit of TLC. I think the owners need to update the check in manual and details for The home. It could also very much use a power wash as we’re coming off of the colder months and there are a bunch of bugs and cobwebs that needed cleaning off. There’s a lot of potential here, the views are great, but I couldn’t get over the level of cleanliness and How the handbook was a bit deeded.

Beautiful location with great view of the lake. Fast to get to Geneva and the wineries. However, several maintenance issues that are not described in the listing: 1) Structure/sloping floor. The half of the house with the main kitchen is severely sloped and not level. Almost a 2 degree slope in the dining room area--enough that a coke can will roll downhill across the dining room without pushing it. If you have anyone with balance issues, beware as it can be very disorienting. 2) Deck outside the kitchen is sagging. The 2x6 joists are sitting on 2x6 beams. The beams are visibly bowed. 3) Septic smell in the rear of the house. When on the deck or in the backyard we noticed a distinct, yet subtle septic smell. Did not make for a very inviting time outdoors even though the scenery is beautiful across the lake. Looks like the septic take is right underneath the rear outdoor stair case and may be causing the odor 4) Main kitchen dishwasher is not working properly and filled with dirty dishes from the previous tenant. The owners sent someone over to get it to start it but we could only get it to start again one other time during our 3 day stay. 5) Pool table only has one pool cue with a felt tip 6) Foosball table was not functioning and looked repaired with duct tape 7) Stairs on the front concrete stair case are sloping and the hand rail is shaky. Again if you have anyone with balance or mobility issues you need to be very careful on this stair case.

Spacious for our group of 10. Has all the accessories needed. Well located. Perfect for us, cyclists.

Great location with wineries nearby, good size house for family gatherings, great water access.

The views of the house off the lake were beautiful but the patio both upper deck and lower decks were dirty full of cobwebs , junk everywhere in the lower deck and the seating area was filthy. It was obvious they were not cleaned . The dishwasher didn’t work and smelled like mold. I was so embarrassed bringing my family to this house. I’ve stayed in a VRBO before and have never experienced such disgusting things
