Stayed Jul 10, 2025Perfect Country Escape – Dog-Friendly, Wine Country Charm & Rosie the Donkey!We absolutely loved our stay at this beautifully converted horse stable! The space was cozy, clean, and full of rustic charm, with all the modern comforts we needed for a relaxing getaway.The 35-acre property is stunning—peaceful trails, open fields, and plenty of space to explore. We brought our dogs, and they had the time of their lives running around and joining us on walks. One of the unexpected highlights was meeting Rosie, the resident donkey! She was so sweet and added such a fun, charming touch to the experience.The location is ideal—just 20 minutes from Canandaigua and 15 minutes from Geneva, with some of the region’s best wineries only a short drive away. The home was very pet-friendly, and the hosts were wonderful—friendly, responsive, and welcoming.Highly recommend this unique and peaceful spot for anyone looking to unwind in the Finger Lakes with their dogs (and maybe share a moment with Rosie!). We’re already planning our return trip!

Stayed Jul 4, 2025My family of 4 stayed here on a visit to see our daughter who is a HWS student. We can't say enough wonderful things about this property, its owner Teresa, and all the ridiculously adorable animals that made our stay absolutely perfect. The attention to detail, the luxurious bedding, the hot tub, the lovely patio, the fenced in space for the dog, the horses outside our window, the gorgeous sunsets, the peacefulness - this place was just absolutely spectacular. Teresa also went above and beyond to treat our teenage rider with an equestrian experience! We can't wait for our next stay here!

Stayed Oct 12, 2024My family and I travel to so many different areas and stay at all sorts of different places. This one was BY FAR the most unique, serene and smile inducing. My horse crazy family felt right at home with the equestrian themed home and the horses truly right out of our kitchen window. This is the most attention to detail I’ve EVER seen. Just a heads up, there’s no oven, so plan accordingly. There is a hot plate so we made some delicious stir fry. All there pots and pans, silverware, dishes and pretty much everything is brand new. (Also, there’s a backyard area that’s pretty much fenced in for your pup!) I will be coming back in the spring so that we can take full advantage of the wood burning hot tub, the hammock and also the lovely patio. Thank you for helping my family with this core memory.
