Waterfront panoramic point w/ pool, perfect for traveling couples, families

This was a perfect place for our extended family to get together for the holidays. So uncommon to find a house with four king beds for all the adults, as well as four twins in a room for the cousins to be together. We loved the giant sunroom with the wrap-around views of the water and the comfortable couches, as well as the generous seating arrangement in the living room by the TV. Great instructions in the house from the hosts on how to use the induction stove, the cupboards were labeled to help us find things, and we appreciated the little things like the Wi-Fi password not being a crazy mess of symbols and numbers so we could actually remember it as we typed it in! :) This house had everything we could have needed including some extra throw blankets and a variety of games. We're looking forward to coming back again!

This Was an excellent trip in every way. The weather was perfect. The house was fantastic. Everything was great. The pool was clean. Everything about the house was clean and spotless. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Kudos to the owners and the housekeepers. I can’t wait to go back again.

Terrific place - very spacious and comfortable with amazing water views from every room and lovely outdoor space. Kitchen is well-equipped and we appreciated the kayaks and pool. Check in and check out were both easy. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

This is our second time staying at the Pilot House! We’ve had a wonderful time each stay. The house is beautiful and equipped with anything you’d possibly need during your stay. We hope to return again next year!

This house had everything we could ask for and more. Coming off the golf course after 36 holes and cooling off in the pool was a great way to cap the day. House had plenty of room to spread out inside and out. Loved it so much we already re-booked for next year. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with and very responsive too.

Our group couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The Pilothouse is top notch; from its beautiful waterfront setting to the upscale, well appointed, immaculate interior. What a treat! The weather gods were with us but had the weather not cooperated there was plenty of space for our group to spread out and still enjoy the peaceful water views and comfortable furnishings. The fire pit was a great spot to watch the sunsets. We enjoyed exploring the nearby restaurants and shops in Whitestone, Irvington and Kilmarnock. Owners Kevin and Julie provided excellent pre and post rental communications. My advice: do not hesitate to press the reservation button!

Beautiful place! We loved our indoor time making dinners and playing games in the house, and we loved our outdoor time kayaking in the kayaks provided by the host and just sitting on the Adirondack chairs and enjoying the view. Would definitely recommend.

This home is gorgeous & beautifully decorated. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The pool was wonderful and the view of Tabbs Creek was amazing. There is a lot of attention to detail in this home. Such a relaxing place with so many places to hang out. Our group absolutely loved our stay & would come back in a heartbeat.

Booked this property to celebrate the end of summer and had such a blast. The house was beautiful, the property/views more so, and we had everything we needed for the stay. I highly recommend this property for your get away!

We didn’t want to leave! We had planned on exploring some nearby towns, going to Williamsburg, etc., but ended up just staying at the house because it has everything you could want. The interior is spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to gather together, but it also provides the right amount of privacy to find a quiet place to read. Add to that the outside with the pool, dock, and spectacular views, there is nothing lacking here. We will certainly plan to come back again!

Our week at the Pilot House was fantastic! The house is fantastic, and we joked all week that we were going to refuse to leave. It was beautifully decorated, furniture and beds were comfortable, and kitchen supplied everything you could possibly need. Owners were friendly, accommodating, and responsive! Would gladly stay again!

The host’s attention to cleanliness and the seamless check-in process made our experience enjoyable, and stress free! Very beautiful and peaceful surroundings! We truly felt at home during our stay!

This home (and I mean HOME, not rental) is the nicest we’ve ever stayed at! The furnishings were Very comfortable, the kitchen had EVERYTHING we could have asked for, the views were Amazing, the pool was large & there were toys, games, water toys galore! It truly felt like we were visiting (very stylish) friends! The owners were very responsive & had wonderful suggestions for the area. We spent 10 days with our kids & grandkids and NO ONE wanted to leave! I can’t give enough stars or say enough positive things about the home or the owners!
