The house was clean and organized. We had everything we needed for cooking for seven people. The grandchildren with their parents enjoyed the kayaks. The sun rise was magnificent from the deck that overlooks Lake Michigan.
We had a wonderful stay! The two floors were perfect, we had a floor for grandparents and a floor for our family with the kids. The water was clear and shallow and fun for everyone to wade around. The water toys were a blast, we made extensive use of the kayaks, water matsl and stand up paddle board. We also had a lovely swan visitor. Great location between Suttons Bay and Traverse City. Stunning view of the bay. We loved every minute and would definitely return!
Our VRBO was absolutely fantastic! The layout of the home as well as being right on the bay was the perfect choice for us and our friends. The distance to downtown was far enough away that we felt the charm of the bay but close enough to travel to all the fun downtown sites to explore and enjoy. The home was very clean and was supplied well with extras to have fun if we just wanted to stay, enjoy the dock and water. recommend this VRBO highly.
We had a great time. We enjoyed the water & the water toys. We drove to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes & did the scenic drive tour & took lots of photos! We drove into Traverse City & did some shopping in the Open Space tents & walked through the down town area & along the marina to admire the fancy boats. We ate at some of our favorite restaurants & A
Wow! The back of the house has two lare decks facing the water and is just gorgeous! House is beachy and super cute and very clean. Lower level is perfect for a family with kids. Location to TC and to wineries is awesome. Only downside is that it is on a busy street so those sleeping on main floor had some traffic noise (white noise on your phone might be helpful). All in all, loved it!
We had an absolutely great time at Lee’s place and so lucky to have booked it! We went for a girls weekend and able to closely visit wineries, hang out on the balcony and have dinner in Traverse City. We kept remarking the whole weekend how perfect it was. We would love to come back next year, thanks Lee!
Great location for water fun and perfectly positioned between Traverse City and Suttons Bay.
We had a really nice time at this property. 5 good sized adults, and there was plenty of space. Nice water toys, and the lake with great sunrises, all wonderful. Very attentive and action oriented property manager (Lee).
We had a wonderful week on the bay. The house is well put together and well stocked with quality kitchen equipment, comfortable beds and couches, and an abundant amount of towels, beach towels, blankets etc. all for a convenient and cozy time. The lake view from the balcony and downstairs porch cannot be beat. The dock with a ladder and stairs is perfect for getting in the water to swim or launch kayaks and paddle board which are provided with the house along with other water gear. The new bathrooms are great as well and the upstairs and downstairs set up gives ample space for everyone. Lee was very responsive but also mostly let us be which is our preference and even is mailing back an item I foolishly left behind.
This gem is a peaceful place to play on the water and close to all the places you want to go. We were comfortable with eight people spreading among two floors. The house was clean, with extras to make us feel welcome. A great array of beach toys are provided for stay at home entertainment on the water.
This was a wonderful house for us. It slept five comfortably could have slept more but there would be less privacy since only three “bedrooms”. The house was clean and well stocked with cooking supplies and storage containers. Perfect lake access off the backyard with slightly rocky/mostly Sandy bottom and great swimming. We had access to two kayaks, a SUP, a lily pad, a gas grill, an anchor, and used everything! Only downsides are, when the AC is on to make it comfy upstairs, the downstairs is freezing, and there is constant traffic noise from M22. However, being on M22 was also great since it was so easy to get to Sutton’s Bay, Leland, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City. Lee was very responsive amd accommodating. We will definitely come back to Daybreak!
Daybreak is a beautiful property with a wonderful lakefront view of the sunrise. Having our own dock, paddle boards, and kayaks available was wonderful. The water is very shallow so the kids were able to go quite a ways out without problems. The house is well-kept, the new bathroom remodels are excellent, and we all enjoyed a very relaxing week. Lee is very responsive and took care of any issue we had right away. I highly recommend renting this property!
We came up north as a group of girls to explore the Traverse City area and check out the wineries. Our rental was perfectly spacious for the 8 of us and we really enjoyed spending time on the downstairs deck (the weather wasn’t quite warm enough for hanging out in the water). Would recommend this place to any groups similar to ours for sure. Very clean and perfect for what we were looking for!
