Waterfront Algoma Vacation Rental on Lake Michigan

Beautiful property with breathtaking view of the lake! Close proximity to towns like Sturgeon Bay with dining/shopping. Our stay was wonderful!

The house was in a good location and clean. It was an easy drive into Door County and close to Algoma. The beach by the house was perfect for watching sunrises. We would stay here again!

Beautiful spot! Emailed the contact on the first day and she never got back to us. It was a minor issue and we didn't try again but thought it should be mentioned in case the owners pay her for her service.

Very nice older home in great shape with lovely lake views. Ample seating outside with a chair swing, patio table with four chairs and additional chairs to sit next to the swing or by your campfire. It was equipped with everything you need for a relaxing get away. Had no issues whatsoever. Would highly recommended this rental.

A perfect weekend getaway for two tired teachers. Views were great, great yard, very clean! Very sweet neighbor across the street helped with firewood! Had everything we needed! Very close to a busy road so some traffic noise! But we had a very nice weekend

I can’t say enough about my short 2 day stay. The property is absolutely beautiful! Well kept and truly feels like a gem. Enjoying the evening with a fire and the crashing of waves in the background was a highlight of my trip. If you’re even considering staying here, do it! I have zero disappointments.

We didn’t want to be in the midst of DC and wanted something quiet. This is about an hour from the Northern tip of DC. The view of the Lale is spectacular. The sunrises were so much fun to watch and the moon rising and shining was excellent. Our first morning there we had a bald eagle land in the tree right there in the yard. The only suggestion I have is at least 1 larger bed.

Just as advertised, but more! The view is incredible. Loved listening to the water and watching the sun rise and set. We would definitely go back!

If privacy, beauty, and cleanliness are things you look for when selecting a vacation abode, you'll find it here. The back yard and patio provide a serene space to enjoy the beauty of Lake Michigan with no neighbors. This was the spot we began each day with, enjoying our morning coffee, before venturing off to take in the local attractions. Access to the home is easy and the entry door is well lit. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the telescope and binoculars. Only two things you should be aware of. Though the freezer has an ice cube maker, we couldn't figure out how to turn it on. There was a half a bag of ice in the freezer and a tray that was full. If you use a lot of ice, I suggest stopping for a bag before you arrive. And FYI, the television does not have network or sports programming. Don't let either of those things dissuade you from this listing. It's a five-star accommodation that I recommend without hesitation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The sunrises over Lake Michigan were spectacular, and the evenings were equally beautiful with the moonlight dancing off the water. We enjoyed a lakeside fire. This location offers easy access both to Door County and the Packers game.

The house was clean and well stocked. It is also in the perfect location just south of Algoma. The views of Lake Michigan from the house and backyard are magnificent. It is a very peaceful place to relax and enjoy the view.

Excellent getaway and staging site for trip to Door County. Right on highway but not busy or noisy. Nice beach and boardwalk in town a couple miles away. Rocks below drop-off, no beach at house but no big deal to us. Loved hearing the waves all the time. No washer/dryer.

The home is lovely and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay! The property is wonderful and the view of Lake Michigan is spectacular! My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

My daughter and I had a lovely, serene 3 night stay at this beautiful lakeside property. Although it was 87 degrees at midday there was always a cool breeze and plenty of shade over the comfortable seaside swing so we never felt too warm. The lush grass was very inviting and the grounds were well groomed so we spent much of our time right there watching the seagulls and pelicans . The house is comfortably furnished and kitchen very well stocked including a full spice rack. There's a Keurig coffee maker and plenty of coffee supplied. Large grill on patio. Table and chairs with shade umbrella outside. Also there's a large flat screen tv which was not pictured in photos. Many games and books, huge telescope for viewing. Wonderful food at Caffe Tlazo for breakfast and lunch! Gluten free options, salads, baked goods, etc. Only open till 3. We're already thinking about returning next summer!

Great location and accommodations. Close enough to enjoy fabulous shopping, restaurants, and outdoor adventures. Yet, private enough to relax while taking in the beautiful view and calming sounds of the water.

All I wanted was a lake view and to have a campfire at night. This location far exceeded my wishes. Very clean and had absolutely everything necessary for a lovely visit. Highly recommend Von Stiel Winery in Algoma. We drove the entire door county loop and honestly the best Lakeview was at serenity.
