Walk to Ocean & Pier: Surfside Beach House w/ Pool

The pool was clean and enjoyable. The location was very close to the beach. You did not see the ocean from inside the condo.

Great place for our weekend golf trip. Perfect location and hope to do it again next year!

Great location and fit our big family well. We enjoyed having the big table for everyone to eat at. Cleaners could definitely do a better job with the floor.

This property offers a lot of rooms and beds at a decent price. This allowed all of my extended family to find a sleeping arrangement that worked for them. Large tables were available for family dinners, and the pool was perfect for cooling off. It is steps away from the beach and the restaurants of Surfside. I was concerned about noise and how busy it might be, but places close at 10, so no late-night parties, no music blasting, and everyone is mindful of kids crossing the street. Despite being next to a hotel and the public beach access parking lot, the beach was never crowded. As for negatives, the fridge is small for the number of people, and there is no storage available for groceries. The floors were filthy when we arrived, and no beach chairs are provided. We had a few issues arise through no fault of the property, but the owners were very quick to address them and make things right. Overall, a great place that we will happily return to again.

Fabulous time!! Great location! By the Pier, places to eat, grocery stores and even a little shopping.Grandsons had a great time fishing. Other Grandchild spent their time in the pool or at the beach.Plenty of room for all.It was great to get together! Family came in from GA, VA & NC.We really appreciated the soap and shampoos in the restrooms.thank you for a great time!

It was our first visit to the area and the location was great. Short walk to the beach and reastaurants. Had some issues with the electronic key not working and only one key available, but we used the lock box so everyone had access to the key. More keys were provided later in the week.

This home is very nice! Great location. Easy beach access. Owner and property manager were both very quick to respond.

Excellent location, only a few minutes walk to the beach and Surfside Beach Pier. Also multiple restaurants within close walking distance. Pool is on the smaller size but worked for us since we spent a lot of time at the beach. Pool company came multiple times during our stay to maintain it. House itself was large enough to accommodate our group of 16 which consisted of adults and children. The cleanliness of the house was sorely lacking. We had to sweep, vacuum and mop the floors our first day as it was quite obvious they had not been cleaned well enough. Kitchen and dresser drawers were dirty and many dishes had to be washed before using. We spent an hour cleaning the charcoal grill before we could use it. Beds were comfortable and bedding seemed to be clean. Please be aware that the owner only supplies a “starter kit” for things like toilet paper, garbage bags, toiletries , etc. Wish this would have been stated in the listing so we could have come prepared. Also listing states a total of 6 parking spots with 2 of them being reserved street parking. It wasn’t until we were there and asked about the street parking that we were told those spots were no longer available for our use. This could’ve been very problematic had we had one more car in our group. An update on the listing would be helpful for future renters. Over all the house worked for us and with such a great location we could over look some of the negatives.

Our family truly loved the location and amenities of this home it was amazing. The home wasn’t very cool the air conditioning wouldn’t keep the house cool enough it kept getting hot in there called and property lady came to put battery in thermostat that was second call about that didn’t help. The floors were filthy our feet were black and the shower curtains were black moldy they did send someone to clean them on Sunday morning, the floors were still not cleaned properly my 1 year old grandson crawled on them and our feet still got black all week. Air filters were nasty and ceilings upstairs were not in the best shape. But our family still had a wonderful vacation. Loved the private pool and being so close to everything.
