This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

    The host was amazing! Constant communication and full of information ! The only thing not mentioned mentioned and I may have overlooked it, is that this is a second story unit and it has a small step inside. Everything was great, it was clean and well decorated. The wifi was easily accessible and had plenty of basic kitchen items if you choose to cook rather than walk the few ( very few) blocks to numerous restaurants and bars.

    We had a fantastic stay! The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. The place was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described. Check-in and check-out were super easy with clear instructions provided. The location was perfect—just a short walk to King Street and all the main attractions in Charleston. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

    The check-in process was extremely easy. Couldn't be a better location! It was very clean when we arrived and it was easy to keep clean.. Porch had a nice view of the street. Very comfortable beds/mattresses! Very friendly landlord /easy to communicate with. Attractively/pleasantly decorated. Would highly recommend for a weekend or an extended stay.

    Did a quick getaway with the hubby to see a show at the Charleston Music Hall and this place did not disappoint! Was an easy walk to and fro the show. Many, many dinner options. It is amazing how much this area has changed since my college days back in the 80’s. Would definitely stay again!

    Dirty, mildew and mold visible (along with smell.). Killed a cockroach by sink. Street noise reported in earlier reviews is bc windows don’t close -they are warped open, so more damp. Kitchen counter is broken, and LVT was laid over rotten subfloor. All the good communication in the world (which ended when I wanted to send photos) can’t make up for these dreadful conditions. Stay somewhere else.

    Upstairs apartment with small balcony/front porch area. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings. Apartment was as described but family room/kitchen seemed a bit smaller than we expected. However, there were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The apartment was very clean, beds were soft and super comfortable. Black out curtains allowed for late sleep if desired. 2 bathrooms was very nice to have and everything in the apartment worked fine. I was happy that the apartment had toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc. Not all rentals have this and this touch was so helpful. The location is perfect, so close to everything. You can walk to several coffee shops in the morning. Holey Bagel was our favorite. Also walking distance to King Street for restaurants, shopping, and site seeing. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

    Great location- A lot of space but the windows and doors are paper thin and you can hear everything and overall very outdated. Also smelled terrible

    The house was cozy and fit descriptions on the website however we couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work on the main TV additional information needs to be provided regarding unit B parking spot instead of arguing
