Villa with pool and garden

Lovely very well furnished house . Great garden and wonderful views all in the nature . Domenico is a great guy and we were very well looked after with fresh tomatoes and other produce from his garden . Great place

Casa Stella is one of the most wonderful places that we have stayed in. It is a pleasure - large, well-appointed rooms with a lovely garden and stunning views of the countryside. The large main bedroom and the living room have french doors on both sides. The kitchen is large and many a lovely meal was prepared there and enjoyed mostly outdoors on a table under the shady veranda. The generously sized swimming pool was perfect for cooling off in a very tranquil setting. If it’s peace and quiet you are looking for – perfetto! What made our stay even more special was the welcome from Domenico and his family. We were greeted by wine, eggs, and delicious tomatoes from the family’s produce. Unfortunately our Italian is limited, but that did not stop us communicating and Domenico and family were always very helpful, guiding us to places to see and even booking a restaurant table for us. There is a lot to see within an hour or so’s drive from the property. Perugia, Città di Castello, Assisi, Deruta (for ceramics), Gubbio, Castiglione del Lago and Cortona are all worth a visit. The countryside around Lake Trasimeno provides a contrast to the more hilly areas near the villa. And special mention should be made of the beautifully preserved village of Montone with its splendid views over the Tiber valley. We have brought home some very special memories of our holiday in Umbria. Grazie Domenico e tutta la famiglia per averci fatto sentire i benvenuti a casa vostra.

We just returned from the most wonderful, relaxing, tranquil vacation at this beautiful house! It is our second stay here and we hope to make it annual! The garden is just gorgeous, the house is perfectly maintained, the swimming pool is glorious and the view is incredible! There are wonderful characteristic towns nearby and the local produce is inspired! Though the best time we spent was just hanging around together at this lovely house!! The family which runs the house does so with dedication and love and it was an incredibly relaxing vacation all around we can’t wait until next year!!

Beautiful house, stunning location, great pool! Extraordinary views! Quiet and peaceful. Great place to relax. Need to speak a little Itaian at least, host doesn't speak English (called brother on the phone who spoke a little). Email contact better. Host's father Domenico is on site at house next door taking care of plants and pool. Kind and friendly. And a great problem solver. Delt with issues immediately. We felt very welcome. Truly a magical stay. We look forward to going back again soon!

This is the best house we have ever stayed in. What an amazing place, beautiful house and priceless views. The house is so clean and everything that you need. The beds were made and so comfortable. All kind of products in the kitchen and well equipped. Dominico is absolutely the best host ever. So friendly and caring, bringing vegetables and making sure the pool is clean. So nice to chat, the kids adored him, and wanted to take him home :). We miss being there already and will definitely come back.

We cant say enough good things about our stay here! The house itself is lovely and well appointed. Beautiful flowers, lemon trees and jasmine were picturesque. The property itself is STUNNING! Pictures can not do it justice. The location is great to get to lots of historic towns and other day trips but we wanted just as much to lounge by the pool, under the sun, soak in the spectacular views, cook and enjoy our meals on covered patio. Maria Teresa and Domenico are lovely and helpful. We were so sad to leave and hope to return on our next trip. Five Stars all the way around.

We had a wonderful week in the house. The hosts father came with several vegetables to us during the week which we use for cooking and were overall very caring. The pool and the view is amazing. We walked down to the local restaurant in town one night and had the best pizzas on our vacation. Definitely a house we will come back and visit another time.

Perfect house for our stay with 2 adults and a 1yo. The house is very cosy and neat. The gated garden was perfect for our daughter to play in under the umbrella. Next to her, we chilled a lot in the hammock. The pool is just magnificent with awesome views. The host is just great! Bringing us fresh vegetables from the garden and very helpful when needed. Italian speaking only, but that was no problem at all.

We - a family of 3 - spend 1 week in early September in this nice house. The house itself - as it can be seen on the pictures - is a jewel on its own and very well maintained and clean. It has plenty of space and the kitchen is well equipped for own cooking purposes. The garden is nice with a roof above the Veranda area for sitting outside even when it’s raining. The pool is large with a great view of the countryside - very nice. The neighbor owns horses, so we got some attacks from horse flies. It’s also necessary to bring mosquito repellent. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay very much, it was a nice relaxing vacation. Thank you very much, Domenico and Tiziano. We might come back one day!
