Villa Émilie with swimming pool and wooded park in the heart of the Village

We had a really nice and relaxing stay in the house. It is big enough to welcome two families. Despite certain little things that would need to be repaired (broken door knob, floor tiles popping off the upstairs floor, broken fan, etc), the house is in rather good shape. There is no A/C but fans are present in each bedroom. WiFi only works in certain part of the house and not in the backyard at all. However the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the huge backyard with its beautiful swimming pool, its vegetable garden and the hens and rabbit running freely all around the place. Children had a blast and so did we!

A beautiful French house with everything and more in the town with the supermarket and bakery less than one minute walk away and many local restaurants. We had a wonderful stay at the property and was even better than the description on the site. Worked brilliantly for 2 families with 4 children aged 6,4 and 3 and was so well set up for them with loads of toys, books and dressing up inside with a swing, pool and play house in the garden. The house was very secure and the children could play safely outside. The house had everything you could need and the chickens and rabbit were a nice addition whilst staying at the property. The owners had thought about everything to make the house work well for adults and children and were very helpful during our stay . It was lovely having a cleaner come to change the beds and have a general clean during our stay as well. We were able to pick tomatoes, courgettes, raspberries, and strawberries from the vegetable patch. The pool was perfect and fenced for safety which allowed all the adults to relax. More than enough space for everyone and lots of places to relax in the garden. We would come again

We (two families with a total of 5 children) had a really relaxing stay in Gallargues. The house is charming and tasteful decorated. The owners were very friendly and communication was easy. The pool is perfect: big enough and safe for children (there is a fence and an alarm system preventing children to go swimming without parental supervision). We very much enjoyed the garden which has a very nice eating and boule place under trees and a gorgeous vegetable garden. Our children made friends with the three chicken and their rabbit mate who move freely in the garden. There is a huge gas grill and a ping-pong table as well as loads of toys for children. There is just one thing which we had to get used to: two bedrooms of the house show to the main street of Gallargues. There is traffic light directly in front of the house. So all visitors sleeping in these parts of the house should not be too noise sensitive… It is about 20-30 minutes to the beaches and we made nice trips to Sommieres, Arles, Avignon and a cave (Grottes de Demoiselles) as well as the beautiful river Herault.
