Great location and home. Plenty of space and well appointed for us.

Was a great property to stay at visiting Valdez. It is cozy and so well stocked and clean. Deanna was great about communication through out our stay ! I’d love to come back !!

We very much enjoyed this property. It was much larger than what we thought it would be. Very clean and centrally located for everything we wanted to do while in Valdez.

Absolutely fabulous place to visit the surrounding area from. Everything was spotless and homey. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

Deanna and Allen were great hosts and very helpful whenever we needed. House was immaculately clean including the kitchen/coffee maker which is usually an overlooked item. We cooked up some great meals in the kitchen thanks to all the good cookware they have.We loved the gear room since we were on a snowboard trip, 3 of us easily had enough room to dry gear every night and repack our stuff every morning comfortably. Living room was super comfortable, cozy for our downtime and tv streaming worked seamlessly, the puzzles they have are so unique and cool we almost got through 3 of them. Wood burning pellet stove also great for ambiance and little extra heat when coming in from the cold. Beds super comfortable, view from the back bedroom is fantastic, showers are great, charcoal grill was perfect for burger night and grilled chicken night. House decor is perfect, feels warm and cozy like a cabin but also contemporary. Artwork everywhere is beautiful. Long story short we can’t wait to come back!

This was the second time we have stayed here, it was clean, quiet and the hospitality was great. My kids had fun playing outside in the snow, there is plenty of room to just hang out and relax.

The hosts were both very welcoming, and quickly responded anytime we had a question. The property was in great shape, and was very easy to settle in. One thing that stood out to me is that in addition to providing the usual basic coffee supplies, they left all the non-perishable foods that previous guests left on check-out. It was really nice to not have to buy lots of supplies, where we only needed a small amount for the entire stay. It made me feel really good about leaving our 'extras' knowing that they could/would be available and used by future guests.

Quiet, well maintained and cute place! Plenty of room for our group of four and just far enough outside of town to be peaceful but still have everything within a quick drive.

Nice place with plenty of space and comforts. Owners were super nice and communicated well. Property was well maintained with nice outdoor space and a fire pit to enjoy the Alaskan summer evenings. Short few minute drive to town, would be a long walk without a car but very convenient with a vehicle. Amazing views. Freezer space for fish caught if needed. Was told bears come through daily. But didn’t see any. Was able to enjoy the bald eagle nesting in the trees in the yard! Overall great place to stay.

Very comfortable home in a quiet area! The living room was great for chilling after a long day. We liked that the bedrooms were separate from each other and each had a bath. Good communication with host.

We had a wonderful stay in Valdez. The home had plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out yet had a very cozy, homey feel. We enjoyed the den and outdoor spaces, especially the rasberry bushes. Conveniently located to the port as well as local hiking trails.

Perfect place just a few minutes from the town of Valdez, could bike into town if you wanted to. Also only a few minutes to the salmon hatchery and to Thompson pass. A bald eagle nest was in the tree next to the house. So we saw them everyday all around us. House was clean and spacious, host Deanna was accessible and accommodating to our needs. House was stocked with everything we needed. Be careful the water is very hot! Beautiful views from the windows, will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our one night stay! Comfy beds , clean, relaxing place for our family to sleep and unwind! Would recommend to family and friends!

The property manager was attentive and made sure everything we needed was avaliable. It was clean and cozy with a great view. We would love to stay again when we return to Valdez.

We spent two nights here after several days of camping in Wrangell St. Elias and Glen Allen. This was a perfect place to recharge- the house was very comfortable, with everything we needed and plenty of space for our family of four to relax.The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Bed & bath linens were lovely. Deanna kindly checked in after our first night, and made a couple of recommendations for the remainder of our time.We wished we could have stayed for longer!

This was by far the best short term rental we have stayed at. The attention to detail was phenomenal. House was extremely clean and stocked with anything someone could need. Also the outside was beautifully maintained and had goregous mountain views.

We enjoyed our stay, had fun and loved the easy vibe of the house and property. The kids want to stay again someday.

Clean, organized, and lovely home!

Especially for people who come fishing. There is a big freezer. No worries about the fish. Saved money on ice! It’s been so helpful. We are looking forward to come again next year

House was spacious warm, very clean. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, I wish the weather had been dryer I’d would have like to have a bonfire in the pit. Really beautiful home.
