Stayed Aug 1, 2022I highly recommend this property for your Outer Banks stay. It’s a few minutes to walk to the beach access. The house was clean and had everything we needed. You can see the Wright Brothers Memorial from the balcony as well as a view of the beach. The house sits about 30 minutes or so from a lot of the attractions and OBX sites (aquarium, The Lost Colony, etc).

Stayed Jul 22, 2022I stayed here with a group of friends for a few days. We found the house to be quite comfortable and quiet, with a huge amount of space. The internet was fast and the air conditioning and fans were so useful. The owner also provided lots of items that we needed for the beach, such as towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc. The outdoor shower was great and it was so nice that every room had it's own deck. The owner is also excellent with communication and allowed us to have a late checkout. However, there are a few things that stood out to us that need a bit of improvement. I stayed in one of the queen bedrooms (the one next to the bathroom), and I found the mattress to be extremely uncomfortable. There is a divot in the middle, so when two people sleep on the mattress, it's hard to avoid rolling into the middle. This caused a lot of back pain for my partner and I. We are also both underweight so this would be even worse for those who are on the heavier side. However, my friends said that the other mattresses didn't have the same problem, so it's probably just that one room. The second floor shower handle was also broken and we needed a screwdriver to fix it, otherwise the water couldn't shut off. However, even after fixing it, it seemed wiggly and we had to tighten it after every other use. There were also a fair amount of bugs in the house, which may have been due to the recent rain before we stayed. However, it was a bit unpleasant that we had spiders jump out at us while opening kitchen cabinets etc. Overall, I would rate the house itself as a 3.5/5, but since the owner was very prompt with communication and provided us with so many beach items as well as a late checkout, my experience was a 4/5.

Stayed May 27, 2022Very nice beach house with 4 spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, and plenty of room for everyone! Great location convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Finding a parking spot at the nearest public beach access was a little challenging, but doable! Our teenagers liked having a pool table and the adults loved the views from the deck!
