It was a great house and loved the pool.

Property was as described, clean, and exactly what we needed. Review would have been five star, however there was no dish soap, sponge or laundry soap provided - it would have been helpful to know this beforehand. It would also be helpful to have more than one extra trash bag provided and may want to consider upgrading the pots/pans. Additionally, the WiFi was not great and although this may not be an issue for some it did present an inconvenience for us as we did need to complete some work related tasks while there. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would choose this property again.

Family was skeptical about renting a house. Once we got there and scoped it out all the amenities and stuff. All was great we really enjoyed the place and location of it not too far not too close it was quiet. The pool bathroom toilet and shower is a plus since the house has only one in the house. Outdoor sink and tables are nice the outdoor fridge is just for looks. All in all we will stay at this house again for sure!

The main reason we stayed here was the private pool. It was nice to have, but wasn’t cleaned so I had to clean it before we used it and could only get it so clean with a skimmer no vacuum. Mostly sand in the bottom I assume from previous guest, a couple tiny dead crabs, and some hair, twigs, and leaves. It’s an older house, but was as clean as it could be and most importantly smelled clean. Older furniture and appliances, but I think that was clear from listing photos. Overall it was pretty good. For the price we wouldn’t stay there again. It’s already expensive. Spend a little more and get an updated place.

We loved this house for our second summer in a row. It is perfect for us and our 4 children.

Was very clean and cozy. My favorite thing was the pool so relaxing water was perfect! Convenient to everything great location,plenty of parking.

Location and size is great for a small family. I do have a couple of pros and cons. Cons: the pool lights and outdoor lighting did not work at all. We would love to go for a late swim but it was too dark. Also the bathroom sink was leaking pretty bad we had to use a towel soak up the water. I would’ve been nice to be made aware that they were having an outside vendor coming to home. A pest control company came to the house to service monthly service and showed up around 7:45am. My kids were just waking up and my husband was still asleep. At least a heads up would’ve been great. Lastly we had A LOT of sugar ants in the kitchen. Especially by the stove and kitchen sink. I couldn’t leave my daughters bottle after I wash them on the counter with out them getting full of ants. I would suggest to find the source and treat it before renting out the house so someone else. The bed in the primary room was super small and uncomfortable. Pros: the private pool was amazing and huge. Location was great I feel like we were right in the middle of town. Everything was close by. The beach was 5 min drive which is not bad at all. Price was great compared to everyone around us and the amenities. I would love to stay here again in the future if all the recommendations are made.

Down by the sea was a fun house to spend a few nights for our kids fall break. It was close to restaurants and a short drive to the ocean. The pool was well kept. The kids loved the outdoor shower. The exterior lighting needs to be fixed or replaced.

I loved the private pool, the outdoor sink and grill. The only thing I’ll nit pick about is the bathroom toilet, it worked fine, the lid just didn’t close right and almost fell off. That’s the only thing. Other than that, it was wonderful!

Overall we enjoyed the stay. There are some issues that need to be fixed as others have said in their reviews. Since they haven’t been fixed yet, I am not sure they will get fixed. The light in the bathroom downstairs does not work. The dryer is REALLY loud. If you plan on using the dryer don’t plan on watching tv or having a conversation while the dryer is running. The bar stools are wobbly. The front door doesn’t latch properly so you have to put some pressure on it to shut it. I did enjoy my stay but these are a few things that could be fixed to make this house so much better.

First let me start by saying that we loved the house and I would definitely stay again. There was just a couple of things that needed attention. The blender in the kitchen didn't work. The lights in the pool didn't turn on and part of the outside lights did not turn on. Also the bathroom downstairs light didn't turn on either and the sink plug didn't want to go up to drain water. We bbq and one of the knobs on the bbq was missing. The ac around 2pm would get up the 80 and it would get very hot.when it was set at 70,but then at night it would start to cool down. The TV in the guess room didn't work, said no connection.

We had a great stay with our family and dog. The property was clean and in a central location in Port Aransas, just a stone's throw from the grocery store and other restaurants, stores, etc. We enjoyed the pool, the outside grill, and the kitchen area, and we appreciated the televisions when it rained! When we arrived, none of the exterior lights worked, which prevented us from using the space at night, and it was a security concern taking the dog out at night. The gate to the backyard did not close properly, so we had to devise a way to close it to ensure the dog stayed in the yard. The customer service and property manager were attentive to addressing the issues, but we had to spend the first three nights without these issues being addressed since it was the weekend. We were present when the property manager and electrician came to address the lights. They also decided it would be a good time to have a plumber out to find a possible leak causing the water bill to be too high. They fixed a few exterior lights under the carport and the gate. The pool company never came to fix the pool lights, so night swimming was not an option for us. I would love to stay here again, but I would want everything to be in working order and not have to alert the property manager or homeowner to fix things.

Overall it was a great place, however some of the lighting wasn’t working well or at all. Maybe the light bulbs needed to be change or something else.

We stayed two nights in the middle of July during the weekday. The house itself is comfy and quaint. The house could use a little sprucing up and a deep clean. The windows could use a good wash. Overall the house was clean. We could not figure out how to turn on the pool lights so we can swim at night. There was enough light from the downstairs patio area to light up the pool area but it would have been nice to have more light inside the pool. Both fan porch lights did not light either. There was a fog light at the top of the porch but it would blink on/off and it was annoying. I did reach out to vacasa customer service that night and they tried to assist via their text service but when they couldn't figure it out either, they told me they would send someone over the next day and no one ever stopped by. I did not use the outside grill but there is a picnic table at the downstairs patio. The outdoor shower was nice but again, the light was not working. There is a washer and dryer in the kitchen area that we used but the dryer is extremely loud and shakes. The washer worked great with no issues. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay except for the feedback that I provided.
