Unique Luxurious Gothic Castle, gorgeous views of lake/mountain 500 acre estate!

We had the most amazing time at this beautiful castle! The caretaker gave a small group of us a tour upon arrival and answered all our questions (thanks Mike) Four floors of space, decorated beautifully with anything we could need or want for our stay. We were there for two nights during a cold snap but were cozy and warm, even had and outdoor fire and did some sledding and ice skating on the pond. We were there to celebrate my moms 90th birthday, we even dressed in Medieval costumes for the party. There was plenty of bedrooms for all the guests ranging in age from 1 to 92! Would love to stay again in the summer and enjoy all the grounds have to offer. I have never experienced anything like it, even more amazing than the pictures!

Celebrated my 40th birthday with a bunch of friends from all over New England. Great location - easy access to stores, if needed, but if you bring everything onsite you don't have to leave the property. Everyone fit comfortably and there was something to do for everyone. Tons of cross country skis and trails, the basement was great for evening hang out while babies slept upstairs. The secret passage ways were fun to explore even for the adults! Hot tub and fire pit were great and it was a beautiful snowy winter. Host was accomadating and answered any questions we had all weekend. Would highly recommend.

The house is lovely. Mike, the facility manager, was helpful and informative. Beautiful views. Our group was able to take advantage of the walking trails and there are plenty of scenic spots to explore.

This castle and its location are just delightful. It was so perfect for my daughter's tiny wedding. We enjoyed every inch of it. It had everything we could have possibly wanted. And all of it was easy. The caretaker was wonderful. Check-in was easy, and the same went for check-out. I love that there is a dumpster on-site. Made the cleanup so quick. I had a quick kayak around the lake too. So so gorgeous. Thank you from all of us. Now I want to come back in the winter!

Beautiful property. The owner provided kayaks, paddle boats, firewood for the firepit, a kitchen filled with all kinds of utensils and appliances, charcoal for the grill and extra propane for the gas grills. The private pond was very fun to explore at night time as we saw little bats flying around to eat mosquitos. The kids were totally obsessed. Many different walking trails that are well maintained. The castle is filled unique decor, with a basement that comes with a bar and a poker table. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The caretaker was responsive to our requests. He took great care of us.

An amazing home (Castle) for our large family gathering!. It was a perfect week! The home & grounds are beautifully maintained and offers a huge array of activities for all ages.Days were spent on the lake with swimming, boating, fishing & picnicking. Many trails for running/walking and games of disc golf! The house accommodated all 22 of us - ranging in age from 3 - 80! The kids enjoyed exploring the secret passages.We enjoyed several meals in the beautiful dining room and various games downstairs following dinner! The home is beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need!l The two Mike's (caretakers) were always available with any questions we had. Thank you to Lynda & John for opening their home to others. We highly recommend this rental - everything you need for an wonderful family vacation! We would love to return!

We absolutely loved our stay at the castle! This was our second time staying here, and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and stocked with everything we could ever need. We used the lake so much, and the kayaks and boats were amazing for everyone. We had family kickball games and wonderful fires at night with s’mores.The icemaker actually broke, and Mike came right over to fix it and when he couldn’t fix it, he brought over ice for us to use. Every detail was perfect.

Had a wonderful time at this unique property that had everything we could imagine. We took enjoyed paddling around the lake, fishing, sitting around the fire, kickball on the lawn, and hiking all around.

We rented this as a place for my family to stay for my son’s wedding. The home had everything we needed and the views and castle were beautiful!!! Property manager greeted us on arrival and walked us through the castle to show us all the amenities and how to operate everything! Kids enjoyed the giant playroom, paddle boats and kayaks! Loved it - would highly recommend!!!!!!

Our family (12 adults and 2 children) had the most magical long weekend at the castle! We were in NH for a family wedding in Rindge. The castle was the perfect location! The amenities provided are amazing...no one could be bored there. The grandkids really enjoyed all the gargoyles, knights in armor, dragons and exploring the secret passageways. The adults had a great time too, especially in the game room. The patio with the fire pit overlooking the lake is just so relaxing. The owners' attention to details and provision of everything you could possibly need made it very easy to settle in and enjoy being together. Mike, the caretaker, was very friendly and made check in and check out easy. Communication with the owners was easy through the VRBO app and they were quick to respond.

I can unequivocally say we had a wonderful time from the moment we drove up until we were driving away. We had booked this as a surprise for our adult children (and their partners) to stay with us. They were absolutely wowed by the amazing castle, the amazing views and just how cool it was. The caretaker Mike was incredibly helpful and helped get us set up perfectly. We would 100% stay again - if we could find an opening :-)

Mother-of-bride: Since everyone attending my daughter's wedding in NH came from a different state I wanted a place where she and her bridesmaids could spend the night together before the wedding and have plenty of room to get ready on the big day. It was a generous and very awesome gift to be able to give our princess a castle for the night! TY Hunt Castle, you did not disappoint. Everyone was in awe of this spectacular home.

We stayed here over a weekend to celebrate getting married with friends and it was perfect. The amount of rooms/beds, the views, the activities, and the accommodations… there was always something to do for everyone and the room to do it. Everyone was able to enjoy their own activity, as well as gather together in one area for meals. The place was very clean, had extras of everything, and the property manager was very helpful and friendly. One of the best stays!

We absolutely love this property and cherish the memories we continue to make with our friends and families. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the castle and ground for walking and exploring. Completely awesome place for 19 friends to hang out. Both the house and the surrounding acreage are bigger than you realize. 100% satisfaction.

Hunt Castle is a beautiful castle on a lake with a lot of toys - paddle boat, canoe, kayaks and fishing poles plus a pool and hot tub. My granddaughter caught 2 fish. Everything is right there

What a lovely long weekend we had at the castle. The grounds were beautiful and serene. The private beach had paddle boats, kayaks etc. and the pond was beautiful. The castle was clean and big yet cozy. The children’s playroom was spacious and bright with every toy you could think of including a trampoline! The crushed ice machine and hot tub were a big hit! There is a fire pit with a beautiful view as well. The caretakers were very nice and happy to accommodate. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon!!

It's cool to be given the opportunity to stay in a castle with large grounds for relaxed leisure activities. Great views. Secret passages. Princess tower all don't disappoint. Property managers Mike and Mike were great. Would love to have seen pictures of the property being developed.

The Castle provided everything we needed for a great time with our extended family, ages 16 months to 73. The basement Game Room was a hit — lots of activities for our Family Tournament of pool, foos ball, darts, ping pong. And poker in between at the poker table. The lake and private beach provided many fun days of sunning, boating, fishing, hanging out. The firepit and tables/chairs just outside off the kitchen was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view, and cook our Smores. The kitchen was laid out well, and had everything we needed for preparing our family dinners. (Finding things was a challenge, as the kitchen had SO many cooking utensils/equipment and lots of cupboards/drawers.) The upstairs playrooms were a hit with our 4 children (and their parents). The furnishings and decor were top notch, creating a homey plus Castle-like experience. The towels provided in the bathrooms could have been of better quality (some were a bit threadbare with threads hanging off). Mike, the caretaker, was friendly and accommodating, responding quickly to any questions or issues we had. We highly recommend this location and accommodations!

My extended family had a great visit. The kids loved the play space and having access to the pool and beach.
