Everything inside was inviting, modern, and well thought out. The outdoors had a great view of the pond and was magnificently peaceful (some days it was hard to make ourselves go anywhere). The host responds promptly, and all directions are clear. The in-house supplies are very generous. My only suggestion if at all possible is to try making the HVAC unit run a bit quieter.

We had a lovely stay! Everything was clean and well taken care of. Had no issues at all. All the little extra's were very appreciated. Between the smores fixings and wood and fire starter, we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much! Would recommend any day!

Seamless & Stunning—A Perfect Getaway! Our experience was flawless from start to finish. Before check-in, we received a detailed house guide with everything we could possibly need to know. After arrival, Guy checked in to make sure we settled in smoothly. The property is even more beautiful in person—very private, with photos that don’t do it justice. The enormous deck was a highlight, complete with gates that gave us peace of mind when relaxing outside after dark (no unwanted critter visits!). The pond is serene and full of fish—I caught a small pike on my first cast, and my son reeled in a 15-inch largemouth bass! We highly recommend this property and will absolutely be booking again.

We had such a relaxing and memorable stay at this lakeside gem on Sportsman’s Pond. The home is very comfortable with everything thoughtfully laid out. The master bedroom is especially lovely, with a comfy queen bed, Roku TV, and attached master bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and bidet seat. The second bedroom was perfect for kids, but would work just as well for adults (though a low ceiling for the top bunk) —super versatile! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for meals at home, and we appreciated the extras like the washer/dryer, fast WiFi, and board games (in the guest room closet). But the outdoor space really stole the show— the big deck, private dock, great swimming out a bit off the floating dock (we towed it out), and we loved paddling the pond in the provided kayaks. Evenings by the fire pit under the stars were the perfect end to each day.Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for peace, nature, and comfort. We’re already planning our next visit.

We had such a lovely, relaxing stay—it truly felt like a peaceful escape. The home is completely private with no neighbors in sight, and the quiet pond (it feels more like a lake!) was perfect for morning coffee, kayaking, and unwinding. The house was incredibly well-stocked—everything from a full kitchen and bathrooms to games, kayaks, fishing pole, a fire pit, and grill. Inside or out, we had everything we needed. The deck deserves a shoutout: it’s huge, with a grill and covered dining area—perfect for relaxing, dinner, or entertaining. And having two full bathrooms was such a bonus for our group. The location is also great—close to multiple state parks and hiking trails. We loved getting outside during the day and coming back to such a peaceful home base. There’s even an adorable Airstream on the property that can be rented too—ideal for larger groups or families. It’s super cute and gives great flexibility for booking. One little thing we really appreciated: the AC! Coming from a home without it, we were grateful for how well it worked. And finally, Guy, the owner, was fantastic—super responsive and helpful. It’s clear he puts a lot of care into making sure guests have a great experience.Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for comfort, nature, and a true break from the everyday.
