No 9 Porters Gate is an air conditioned villa located in a small gated community amongst fragrant gardens with a tennis court, communal pool and clubhouse. Our superb two bedroom villa with en suite bathrooms is only a short walk to the fabulous Alleyne beach.

The spacious ground floor is open plan leading onto a tropical patio with it's own plunge pool. The modern kitchen is ideal for conjuring up those Caribbean culinary delights. Choose to eat at either the breakfast bar or at the dining table or maybe dine outside where you may spot a monkey on the fence or a humming bird hovering at the Hibiscus! Relax on comfortable sofas and maybe watch TV or listen to your favourite track on the blue tooth speaker. The master bedroom has a super king sized bed, balcony, dressing room and en suite wet room. The second bedroom has twin beds (or zipped together to form a super king) balcony and en suite bathroom with a walk in shower and marble vanity unit.

We aim to make your stay on the island as pleasurable and trouble free as possible - to this end our team will oversee your stay at Porters Gate.

We arrange a once weekly maid / cleaning service with fresh linen provided. Additional maids' visits can also be arranged along with taxi / car hire should the requirement be needed. A taxi can also be arranged to meet you at the airport if you do not wish to hire a car. Our local representative will discuss any requirements you may have when you arrive and will always be on hand to help with any queries or recommendations you may have. Any additional services you may wish to use will be charged for locally.

Please note that the check in time is after 15.30pm and check out time is 11.00am. The check out time is flexible unless we have guests arriving on the same day. Please discuss with our property manager during your stay who will be more than happy to assist where possible.

    Wendy and Richard provided us with a fantastic villa to stay for our weeks holiday as a family of four. The villa was spotless and had excellent facilities including a large selection of towels, good showers, nice spacious and air con fitted rooms and a beautiful outdoor area with plenty of seating. We had a lovely time at 9 Porters Gate and would definitely recommended this property due to its great location, hosts, and what it offers. The housekeeper Marcia was also great at keeping in contact throughout our visit and ensured we were well equipped throughout our stay - thank you!

    Thank you for a fabulous stay. A lovely house within walking distance of the beaches, bars and restaurants. The area is quiet and tranquil, house is very clean and has everything you need. The photos don't do it justice. Small garden with plunge pool a bonus, although we spent most of our time at the beach. Both Wendy and Marcia were very helpful and communication was excellent. Thank you!

    We had a wonderful stay at Porters, the complex was lovely and quiet with private access. Marcia our property manager was on hand if we had any issues and was very helpful. Wendy the owner was also lovely to deal with.The communal area was fantastic. Many of things was in walking distance but we had a car so was able to get around much easier. Would have preferred air conditioning throughout and not just the bedrooms but it didn’t put me off. Would I return? ABSOLUTELY!

    Definitely was the best 1st stay in Barbados at the right location and definitely right house!!! Cant wait to come back again! MARCIA was the best very tentative and checked on me and I just love the cleanliness and all the information and instructions left to make things smooth and easy! But I have to thank Ryan Marshall for the ride from the airport but a Big shoutout to Nicholas Alleyne for helping me every day to get around and bringing me back safely! The only downside was i didn’t book it long enough ?BUT I WILL BE BACK!!!!!

    We enjoyed our month at Porters the accommodation was comfortable and outside plunge pool and sitting area very welcome on some hot afternoons. Quiet well maintained complex and although there was some building work nearby it didn’t affect us. We hope to return in the future.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our ten days in beautiful Barbados while residing at this property. The owners were a dream to deal with and Marcia, the property manager, was kind and responded to all our questions and needs. Given we stayed in July, we were so grateful to have the lovely plunge pool out back to cool off in the evenings after our trek to the beach. Be careful walking to the beach, sidewalks are limited and traffic is non-stop. Thank you to all the incredibly kind Bajan people we encountered on our many excursions who readily answered our questions and redirected us when we were lost. Special shout out to Jason who took us to and from the airport and toured us around the island. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind. Would recommend this property to others!

    We stayed a week at the villa and found it to be spacious; clean; comfortable; and in an ideal location for us. The pictures were accurate. It also has all of the creature comforts you need if you want to cook or make drinks. AC works well, no issues. Ample fans. Plenty of towels. The plunge pool was glorious. Watched the sunset from the main bedroom balcony. If you are ok with taking the bus, the stops are a short walk from the villa. Beach is about 5-7 min walk. The owner alerted us about possible construction work in the area. Minimal noise. No major disturbance. Ryan's Happy grocery store and the bakery about a 10 min walk. Marcia the property manager was excellent. She was responsive to all of our requests and arranged transport for us. We had a wonderful time. Would book again.

    From start to finish we had an amazing stay at no:9. The property has everything you could possibly need and more. It was beautifully clean and well maintained. The plunge pool is just perfect and the little garden such a nice place to sit and soak up the sun. The location is ideal, quiet but within walking distance of the beach and some bars and restaurants. Our communication with both the owners and Marcia was perfect, questions answered swiftly and Marcia on hand on site if we had any issues, she was so welcoming. This wasn’t our first visit and I suspect it won’t be the last !

    Apart from the nearby building work - a super stay. Excellent House Manager and House Keeper looked after us well. being able to walk to beach and bars was a real plus.
