Stayed Aug 17, 2025A very comfortable villa with a fantastic pool and all amenities you need. The last km to the house is a quite challenging unpaved road, but once there it’s great. We would have liked to see a bit more of the surrounding hills, the garden is now quite secluded which can be a pre for guests who love privacy

Stayed Sep 14, 2024Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. Highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 1, 2023The instructions for arrival were detailed and helpfully so. It didn’t detract from the excitement of the drive though. You need a car big enough to tackle the terrain and small enough to fit the track! The house was spotless and very well equipped. There was a thoughtful welcome basket including wine and pasta. Care was needed with the upstairs rooms as they got quite hot and we struggled to cool them at night but the beds were excellent and there was a fan in each room. There were also bug screens on the shutters to allow windows to be open at night. The pool area was beautiful but quite a few biting beasties. There were plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sun or the shade. The bathrooms were nice and the living space generous. The only caution is it is very remote - which is great if you want peace and quiet but you can’t walk anywhere so lots of driving involved. Lucca Rafting was excellent - canyoning well worth it.

Stayed Jul 24, 2021I stayed in the house with my family and grandparents. The house is spacious. We loved the living area. The pool was great. The bed- and bathrooms were neat and tidy. And what surprised us the most was how well equipped the kitchen was. If there was a minor point, than it was only the last part of the road. You need a good/big car to drive up here.
