Turkey Trot- Light & Bright Blowing Rock Guest Suite

Place was nice and high up,,, Quiet,,,nice suite.. Would stay again!

This place is a find and was just right for us—remote (quiet) but centrally located (Tweetsie Railroad across the main road, and Grandfather Mountain not far). Spacious, comfortable, great decor, parking at the door. They alerted us to the rooster but we never heard it, darn it! We’ll be back!

Property was very clean, located in a beautiful spot, and close to all the fun but still secluded.

My experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing and i would definitely book this property again in the future. It is secluded yet close to everything. The suite is clean and well decorated. I had originally booked in January for my son's birthday but we had the ice storm. Jen was awesome and let me reschedule. We then had high winds and snow. So again, i couldn't make it and she let me reschedule again. She really went out of her way to make sure that everything worked for us and that my son had the best birthday. I never told her that i need a second bed but when i told her that it was going to be me and my 2 boys, she went ahead and set up another bed for me. Everything was perfect and easy from start to finish. She really cares that her guests have the best experience and it shows. If i could give her more than 5 stars, i would. Thanks for having us!

Owners were super nice and had a really sweet cat. The owners were very attentive to my needs and the place was super clean and exactly as advertised. I would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend it to everyone.

We absolutely love this place, and the owners are so awesome and responsive! We have come here a number of times, usually either for my wife's birthday or for our anniversary, because it's very convenient being between Boone and Blowing Rock. What makes it extra special is the owners attention and attentiveness. We will definitely be back for many times to come.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

Jennifer was very responsive to our questions when we were on our way there. The studio is fully stock of hot drinks I need for am drinks. And she even provided sweet candies for my kids. The studio is very spacious, bed is very comfortable and the place is quiet. Will definitely refer this place to my friends. Can’t wait to come back soon in NC and book this place again. We had a best stay here.

I mean if snow happens, owners should jsut give voluntary refunds. Otherwise, they are being predatory.

Very Clean accommodations!

The host was very welcoming and cordial. The room was very neat and organized. We had a wonderful time.

Very clean, very cozy and comfortable! Loved it and plan to stay again. It made me rate my skiing experience even though I didn't ski, so I just gave it a 5 so it wouldn't affect the overall rating.

The stay was amazing. They wecomed us when we arived and as we left they came out and we chatted a bit. It was very clean, very updated and had everything i needed! I will be back

The room was clean, towels and sheets and other amenities were provided. This place also had many board games which we enjoyed. This is a great place for a short getaway.

Everything was clean, and super cute! They add little extras that make your stay comfortable and easy. Didn’t realize the remote by the bed was for the bed (thought it was for the fan) but it’s actually for the bed, so nice to give guests a nice option!

This spot was perfect for our quick stay in Blowingrock.

Awesome one room cabin to stay in, nestled between Boone and Blowing Rock. The owners are so nice and responsive. This was our 3rd time staying here, and we definitely plan to stay here again when we are in the area.

The driveway had easy access to the lodging and the lodging was clean as well as comfortable

Great,clean place! Perfect for a night or two with family of four (ask for extra cot) or extended stay with spouse!

Very easy to check on and out of. Host was easy to contact for a left behind item. Place was clean and quiet. Nice surroundings.

We were pleased with the accommodations. Very quiet location just outside of town, but still convenient to restaurants. Bed was super comfortable. Would have no hesitation to stay there again.

This cute little Turkey Trot exceeded my expectations - it was beautiful and perfect! Quiet space with own driveway and entrance. The inside was very clean, bright and airy, linenes were soft and cozy and to mention a wonderful nights sleep on the Structures adjustable bed. An additional full size bed was added to the space for my 10 yr old. Bathroom was equipped with plenty of linens and the shower was nice! Less than a 10 minute drive into town and the property owner was quick to respond and a delight to work with. 5 EXCELLENT stay!

Check in was easy, good instructions, cozy room with everything we need for an enjoyable stay. Have been here before, and will come again!

We stayed a night while skiing at Appalachian Ski Mtn. Perfect location for that. Very clean and comfortable.

Loved the house, very cutely decorated and private from the main house, but upon our first night we started the shower and realized that the toilet water would rise and not stop, contacted the host asking if it was common or if there was a fix, no response. On the second day we were pulling in and to (what we assumed were the owners kids) playing in the yard, didn’t think anything of it until we were getting out of the car and a little girl decided to stand five feet away from us, and watched us as we got out of the car and unloaded it. Just a little odd. While it is disclosed there are chickens, there’s also roosters that will wake you up at 6 a.m. Overall, would stay again just some small problems!

The location was perfect for us, right between Blowing Rock and Boone. Easy to access both towns. Exactly as advertised. Very quiet location. Parking right by the entrance. We would stay there again.

We were looking for somewhere near Boone for a quick overnight trip and couldn’t have found a more perfect spot. We hope to return again.

It's quiet, clean very private. We plan to use it again when visiting family in the area.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful rental. The location was perfect and the property was well apportioned and comfortable. There was a lot of light and the decor was modern and stylish. My 8 year old son said, “ Wow! This place looks really great.” as we arrived. We would certainly stay here again.

This place was the perfect size for my 7 year old and me. It's located directly across from Tweetsie and in-between Boone and Blowing Rock. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful quiet stay up on the mountain. The stars were beautiful! The room was very clean and organized. The bathroom had fluffy soft towels and extra amenities, if needed. The bed was super comfortable! There were extra blankets availble. The location was easy to find and convenient. A quick drive back to Boone or over to Blowing Rock. AAA+++
