Stayed Dec 23, 2025Everything was truly amazing! the house, the view, and the host. We had the best time in the mountains, and my kids genuinely didn’t want to come back home. The home is spotless, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay.We loved all the little things that made it feel special: making s’mores, grilling, playing foosball, going skating, and spending time downtown. Shelagh Doyle was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Thank you so much for adding the Christmas tree—my kids were thrilled, and it made our holiday feel extra magicalWe truly enjoyed our Christmas stay and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Stayed Dec 11, 2025Shelagh was such a great host! Very responsive and informative throughout our stay. The home was beautifully decorated, there even was a little Christmas tree for our December stay. Fantastic location 10-15 minutes to both DT Boone and blowing rock. It’s even 9 minutes away from Appalachian ski mtn which was wonderful. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Stayed Nov 27, 2025Can’t beat the views of the valley! Very quiet at the end of the road on top of the mountain. Waking up to deer grazing the yard. House is stocked with everything needed for dining in, roomy for the family, modern yet cozy.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025We loved our time here! The house is extremely well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen not only has everything you need, but the knives are high quality and sharp. The beds are very comfortable with soft, organic linens. The views from the outside deck were just fabulous and we couldn’t get enough of all the deer families around the house. The owner is so kind and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again!
