Translators Cottage: Family-friendly Stay in Lancaster County

The cleaness and every details was well thought out by the owner.

It was great! We had a reunion weekend and it was the perfect place for us to get together and spend quality time. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a great meal. We all enjoyed a good nights rest as well. We will definitely be returning!!

This was the 2nd time staying here and everything is always perfect. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. Can't recommend this one enough!

The Translators Cottage was immaculate, cozy, comfortably furnished and well stocked. The host responded speedily and was most helpful. The cottage was a comfortable haven away from home. The expansive wooden wall map provided the crowning touch of the Translators Cottage. We hope to return.

This house was so lovely and peaceful .The Host are attentive and made us feel at home . We walked into this home after a long day of driving to a welcoming note and treats left for our family . I personally appreciated all the scripture around the home . We had a blessed stay.

Our family had a fantastic time. The house was a 10 very clean the host are extremely thoughtful and covered everything you could think of snacks tea coffee a lovely place to stay!

We traveled from NJ, with family members from overseas, for a trip to Hershey's and Lancaster. We stayed a night at Dean and Christine's lovely home. They had thought of everything and made our stay very comfortable. The house was spotless. They provided us with sourdough cinnamon rolls, bottled water, snacks, and soda, which I have to say was very thoughtful and considerate of them. Their backyard is beautiful, and we enjoyed the fireflies after dark. Overall, our stay was lovely, comfortable, and relaxing. Thank you, Dean and Cristine.

This cottage is super cute and very nice for a getaway. We stayed to go to Shocktober and it was a perfect place as it was less than 15 minutes from the house. It was clean and the hosts left plenty of snacks and water for us. I would highly recommend this place.

We came to the cottage for a church conference event with some of our family. We were blown away by the house! Every detail was thought of specially if you have children! This was such a peaceful home! We also loved reading the story of the home owners and their family! I can’t wait to stay here again! Ps the cinnamon rolls were amazing!!

Great house and location - within driving distance of many little towns. Many amenities. Very clean and welcoming. Stairs to second floor - very steep, but that was all disclosed before. Quaint house. We all really enjoyed our stay - would come back.

Great location, approx 20 minutes to most nearby towns. It was great to have a house to return to instead of a hotel which is great when travelling with family.

Where to begin? We wanted a place to stay that was clean, quiet and a bit off a beaten path. Did we score with this place! The couple managing this place were welcoming in the extreme. They were helpful they were courteous and they were friendly. I couldn't ask for anything more. The property was incredible. It was cleaner than I could have imagined and homie. They had made some cinnamon rolls for us that were delicious, there were nice touches of home and care all over the place and it was greatly appreciated. I couldn't give this place a higher rating and if we come back to Lancaster county I guarantee we will be staying here. That said there were a couple things that I would suggest. First they need to work on the stock of the kitchen just a bit: a strainer would be very nice for pasta, sugar and a few other essentials. A desk or chest of drawers in the downstairs bedroom would have been greatly appreciated. But that really is about it. Other than those minor things this place was an absolute pleasure to stay at and I think the couple greatly for our stay.
