Tranquil, walkable home with seasonal pool, beautiful gardens & 2 patios

Having been away from Portland for some time it felt great to be in a space exuding Portland's charming cultural mashup. The property was in excellent condition and the space felt both cozy and spacious. We appreciated the small details designed to make our stay feel relaxed, which we were really looking for and needed.

The accommodations were perfect. Everything was tastefully decorated, and the kitchen had all the necessities we needed to enjoy some downtime!

Didn't initially realize that it is a basement apartment in the house but probably just because I didn't read the listing close enough very nice spot in a good neighborhood with friendly hosts

We loved relaxing outside by the beautiful greenery and pool. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. It felt like home!

The home has so many lovely details. You can see how much love and pride the hosts take in ensuring their guests have a lovely stay. From the welcome basket, the garden, patio, and little notes left over the basement apartment, we felt welcome and at home.

This is a perfect property for 2 adults and 2 kids. Loved the neighborhood , pool , and residence. It had extra touches and felt like we were at home. We would definitely stay again .

We absolutely adore this location, it's homeyness, and on a lovely neighborhood street in Multnomah with EZ access to all the freeways. The apartment is wonderfully and creatively decorated, and many of the home amenities have been thought of, such as books and magazines and games, fluffy quality towels, and lots of cozy pillows and blankets. I can guarantee you that our next trip to Portland we will be seeking to return here.

The property is beautiful, especially the outside grounds were so relaxing and refreshing. The rooms were large and very comfortably appointed. Small problems were that the pool was not heated until after our stay, that the barbecue did not have propane so we had to change our plans, and there were a lot of spiders.

Beautiful basement apartment with gorgeous and serene garden; excellent for relaxation. Great proximity to walking trails and Mutnomah Village, creating a relaxing and convenient getaway!

This is a beautiful home in a great Portland neighborhood. The home was beautifully decorated and had more than ample supplies to cook a great meal. We had our Portland friends to dinner, The kids went swimming and it was a dream. We hope to come back soon!

This property was perfect for our stay -- my two teenage kids and myself. We loved how cool the lower apartment stayed during the hot days. My son had a great time in the pool. The updates to the kitchen and bath are very charming and I absolutely loved the patio seating and walk through the shady garden to get to the apartment. Great neighborhood with lots of hills for getting up a sweat. Drawbacks: low ceilings (my son is 6'3 and had to duck doorways), the apartment doesn't have very much natural light, kitchen cabinet doors are a bit awkward (style of hinges forces you to open the door completely to access drawers inside), the bathroom is not super convenient to the primary bedroom. Overall, the space was great for our summer visit. I probably would not choose this listing for a fall/winter stay.

We loved this place! From the moment we walked through the beautiful garden, we knew we were in for a treat. The home was adorable ,comfortable and very clean. We slept very well! It was a great base camp to come back to after a day of exploring beautiful Oregon. The owner was so kind to communicate maintenance and gardening personnel that were going to be on property. We brought beautifully weather with us and and they were preparing the pool for future use. They were no bother to us and quite friendly. I'm always ready to go home after being away for a while, but not here. I could have stayed a few more days.

Lovely stay. The garden was wonderful. We could just sit and enjoy. Barbur world market is a short walk away with wonderful food. Near a busy street but you never hear it
