The house was beautiful. Nicely kept. Had a great weekend
The house is gorgeous, views are amazing. Just loved the room with the large chaises. The only downside is the beach access. It’s a long walk, with a lot of hills. We ended up driving and would take turns being the person left behind from the beach walk because there is nowhere to park. Even so, we would definitely stay here again. Also a grill would be a nice addition.
Lovely home, responsive manager
Amazing views, including eagles, hawks and sun rises. Well appointed house with clean and soothing color scheme and good fabrics. Management responded fast to an internet issue after a storm.
Beautiful view of the Chesapeake Bay. Great natural light and nice first floor open layout. Enjoyed our stay. Only wish there was a gas grill.
Perfect getaway from the city.
This place was just what my family needed to reconnect. Amazing views and atmosphere
Arrived in evening and it was dark and raining that day. Once inside the house was amazing, clean and very well decorated and stocked with dishes and cookware, shampoo spa like. We woke up and walked out of bedroom and all I can say was wow wall to wall view surrounding the water! It was just what our family needed to relax. If you are considering a trip to visit Md or DC you will not regret staying at this house.
The house is a gem. Cliffside views of the Chesapeake combined with a private setting made for an excellent weekend getaway. The pictures accurately reflect the pristine condition of the home. We hope to return again soon.
Our cliff-top stay on the Chesapeake was glorious! Bay View was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Views of the water by day and the stars and moon by night were phenomenal!!! We enjoyed invigorating walks through the neighborhood to the community’s private beach and the short drive to Flag Ponds Nature Park to hunt for shark’s teeth and other marine fossils. Restaurants and grocery stores are also a short drive away. Our German Wire-haired Pointer loved the mostly fenced side yard and frolicking in the Bay – oblivious to the fact that it was December, and the temps were in the high 30’s and low 40’s! Our hosts thoughtfully provided an elevated food and water bowl set that he enjoyed using, too. We’re planning to book again in 2023 during one of the major meteor showers and will keep our fingers crossed for clear night skies – that will be amazing!!!
This was the best placed we have stayed it compared to all the homes we rent all over the nation. Not only is the home beautiful but the host with their treats, cereal, pots and pans.. bascically everything was amazing. The view when you wake up and see the ocean was breathtaking. We come to Maryland the same time every year and we will be trying to get this home again!
Our stay began with a thoughtful gift of wine and some chocolate for our 22nd anniversary. This property was the nicest place we have stayed at and was furnished more like a second home than a rental. The 180 degree cliff side view of the Chesapeake Bay which could be seen from almost every room in the house and offered privacy and tranquility unmatched by other properties. Peaceful morning coffee on the deck listening to the gentle waves, birds, and watching the crab fisherman collect their catch were the perfect relaxing getaway. Every part of the home was recently renovated and furnished. From wood for the real wood burning fireplace, telescope, to the vinyl record player and even a where’s Waldo book and chalk board wall for our daughter. The home was furnished elegantly and even allowed us to bring our dog, who equally enjoyed the breathtaking views from her fenced backyard. It was a short 20 min from Solomons island where there are nice restaurants as well, in addition to the fall festivities in the local area. In short we could not have found a better place to celebrate our marriage. If you stay here you will love it too
