Welcome to The Got-Away, a place where you can relax & renew. The Got-Away is a play on the phrase the fish that Got Away. Since Tims Ford offers wonderful fishing opportunities, we thought the name would be perfect. We want our home to be a place where you can escape life's hassles with family & friends. Our Dad loved to fish, and many of the items in The Got-Away were his. As an Army/Coast Guard Veteran, the water was a second home to him. We hope it will be for you and your guests

Stayed Jun 26, 2025This get away was wonderful . It had everything you could possible need, if you possibly forgot any little essentials. The home is so beautifully decorated, this house was super clean ! Great job to the cleaning crew. Only down fall is the WiFi wasn’t good in the house or in the area.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024Out far enough for peace and quiet, but close enough to drive avout 5 miles for stores and necessities! The host is very responsive and accommodating! Will definetley stay here again The only thing we didnt like was no tvs in the bed rooms, but we didnt need them to drown out any city noise so didnt mind it at all! Perfect place for a family vacay!
