Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our 2nd stay at Thrift cottage, we love the quiet location. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a lovely cafe and bistro bar at Millendreath, a 5 minute walk from the cottage. Looe is a 25 minute walk along the cliffs with some very steep hills but worth it for the spectacular views.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely cottage although name of cottage barely visible from road. We believe that the very narrow access between buildings to the cottage should be mentioned in the description as for larger cars this can be an issue.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Clean, pretty well equipped little cottage. Shame we didn't have a sea view from the garden though. Bed comfortable we slept like logs. Beach area run down since last visit - real shame. Good job beach bar was open. However they don't sell food and there isn't any where to eat nearby. The walk to both local beaches are not for people who don't do hills! Wifi not great. Fridge needs defrosting and freezer needs a clean as smelt of fish. Think we paid above the average price for property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Loved our stay at Thrift cottage, perfectly equipped for a weeks holiday. It’s a little remote, 25 minute walk into Looe along the coastal path. Beautifully decorated, everything on hand to make your stay comfy. The bed was amazingly comfy, strong WiFi, clean throughout, would definitely visit again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cottage was first class, clean well appointed, comfy and well placed for our visit to Devon. Once you found the Cottage it was in a nice quiet area and a short decent to the beach, with a very good restaurant, with nice food and a bar in a great position over looking the sea, inside or out. The character of the cottage was excellent and the bed was comfortable and you could see the stars at night through the roof light in your bed the sun house and cottage garden were a delight 5 stars.
