I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, I would say the house had most everything needed. We cooked in quite a bit, so if you're going to do that, I'd suggest bringing some cooking utensils as the ones provided are very cheap and bendable. I was disapppointed there isn't more of an outdoor space - but that's obvious from pictures. Just wish the porch has been a bit larger so we could sit outside. Other than than, the rooms were a good size and having the garage available to put extra drinks, do laundry, store our stuff was a plus. The location is good to both beach and restaurants, especially if you rent a golf cart (which we suggest you do from Red's - they deliver and pick it up). This trip was sort of last minute as our previous booking plans had fallen through. The price was a bit much for what you actually get (no outside space for example) but overall a nice rental. We did not have to contact the hosts for anything breaking, also a plus. Thank you.

    We were excited for our visit to Port A. We had a few unexpected issues with the house. The first evening the toilet in the downstairs half bath started leaking. We were told that we communication either via a phone call or a text would be promptly responded to however when we didn’t hear back from our text, we gave them a call and they said they never received it. Maintenance did come out and look at the toilet the same day that we were able to connect with management. Unfortunately, they said they had to replace the toilet and it wouldn’t be for four days, which was essentially our entire trip. We were disappointed that the repair could not be made in a more timely manner. One of the main reasons we chose the property was the 2 1/2 bath convenience. We also identified damage to the blinds and the upstairs shower drain cover upon arrival. A few days into the trip we were looking to use the washer and dryer also a key reason for choosing the property. To our dismay the washing machine would not complete a cycle and drain. we reported the issue and the management property said they’d have maintenance come out and we’re very apologetic, however, the trip was almost over. Despite several issues, we enjoyed our stay in Port A, the location of the property and it’s amenities.

However, we do have a few suggestions for the owners to make future guests more comfortable:*A Keurig-type coffee maker;*Hooks in the bathrooms to hang wet towels on and hooks on the outside for wet swimsuits/beach towels;*A larger trash can in the kitchen;*A sign on the outside front stating the name of the property;*Make sure all light bulbs are replaced and all fixtures are working. Also, it looks like the old smoke detector was replaced in the master bedroom, but the wires are still hanging out of the hole. Small things like that make a difference for guests.
