Excellent property with stunning views.

Loved the resort - there were four ladies and we found the house to be cute and the kitchen was well stocked with all the glassware and other items we needed for the weekend. Loved the hot tub! Would have enjoyed more outdoor seating out front but that was a minor detail as we overall loved the house and would return if our travels find us in the area again!

Perfect location for visiting the wineries. We loved the jacuzzi- perfect way to continue the relaxation and enjoy the dark sky! Beautiful home! Beds and pillows are very comfortable. We’ve stayed here before and this has become the only place we will stay!

A few of the kitchen items were falling apart. For example the red spatula, you might want to get a new one. I would probably have a second cutting board.

Three female best friends stayed for a milestone birthday and we had a blast! The home had everything we needed, check in/out was easy. The hot tub was one of the reasons why we stayed given some of the winery's close earlier than what we are used to so it was nice to unwind. The views were extraordinary and Kate was helpful with questions about the area.

Great house, easy instructions.

The home was great. Location was perfect for our trip. We were able to visit several different areas from the home. We enjoyed the Hops and Vines Winery which was quite close. We had a great time sampling some really yummy wines. We enjoyed the hot tub most evenings!There was plenty of space for all of us to cook and rest and relax. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Great stay the house is lovely with some of the most beautiful views in the area. Sunrise and sunsets were outstanding. We had one small issue with a smoke detector and she had it fixed ASAP. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.

Location and views were amazing. Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day hiking.

We really enjoyed the house! The hot tub was super relaxing and the location is amazing. While we loved the spacious living area and kitchen, we did feel a little like we were in a fish bowl since there are no curtains in that space. Also could have used more spoons, more coffee cups, and more hot tub towels. It is a great house and we would absolutely stay again. Thank you!

We had a great weekend staying here with two other couples. The house was super clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The kitchen and grill were well-stocked, which made it easy to throw together a meal one night. We loved hanging out in the hot tub under the stars—it was so quiet and peaceful, and the sunsets were gorgeous. Great location too, really close to all the wineries. We’d definitely come back!

We had the best time staying here! The host was very quick to respond and the house was beautiful! This house is located right next to two wineries and a very short drive to many others! We would definitely stay here again!

We spent 2 nights at the Wine Down Lodge. It had beautiful views of the Sonoita foothills. It was the perfect location for our trip to the Southern AZ wine country. The house was well appointed and very clean. Kate was very responsive to our questions. We would highly recommend this home and will come back.

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at ‘Wine Down.’ Unlike so many other rentals, it was incredibly well appointed with all the things you need to make a cup of coffee, cook a meal, etc! It was comfortable, clean and in a great location. It was easy to communicate with the owner and she was very accommodating. We will definitely recommend Wine Down to our friends and hope to be back ourselves!

We met some friends for some orienteering meets in several remote desert areas. Sonoita was well placed for those, so we hoped to find a comfortable rental. The Wine Down exceeded our expectations. Well stocked, comfortable and spacious for our group of 4, it was the ideal base.

We enjoyed our stay. We managed to pick the worst weather, but it was actually quite cozy to watch the snowfall from the big picture window. And then deer wandered through. We spent the next day touring around and visited a couple wine tastings. Very relaxing and enjoyable, the house was cozy and warm. We cooked and played cards and drank wine. Very relaxing two nights.

Group of friends weekend away to relax with no responsibilities. We visited some wineries but mostly just stayed at the residence and made good food, played games, talked and rested. Very nice time!

The men brought us here for a quail hunt. We stayed over to enjoy the warmer climate and just a few wineries. Each couple bringing home a case of wine!

This was our second time staying here. We LOVE the place and will definitely come back. Beautiful home. Close to the wineries. The perfect place.

The location of this property is so special, located hillside in view of the surrounding mountains and fields of cows grazing. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The best part is enjoying a soak in the jacuzzi while you watch the sunset. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and going for a drive to explore the local wineries. We hope to visit again!

This is a wonderful property. Beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. Spotlessly clean. Great location in high Sonoran close to town and wineries. Host is kind and responsive. Going to Sonoita? Book this property immediately.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wine Down! We loved the (fantastic) bottle of wine the owners provided. That was a nice surprise. The home is clean and decorated beautifully. It’s close to town and to local wineries. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the hot tub was a nice addition. Our only suggestion would be providing safety bars for the two sliding doors.

The property was clean, beautifully styled, with a quiet and peaceful location and very enjoyable jacuzzi. Close to wineries! We are already planning to return and this is the perfect place to stay!

We loved our visit and stay so much last year at the wine down lodge we decided to come back again. The house is perfect, clean and cozy and equipped with everything you could ever need. Hope to return in 2024. Thanks again!

Everything about our stay was easy and relaxing. No issues getting in. Loved the notebook with all the info right in the entry. Everything was easy to find and the kitchen was well stocked with spices, coffee filters and random things which was kind and helpful.
