Stayed Jul 27, 2025We had the best time staying at the Whale’s Tail cottage in West Dennis. We booked very last minute, but could not be happier with our experience and stay. The house had everything we could possibly think of: from paper towels and Ziploc bags, to zip ties and rubber bands. The cleanliness of the home was like nothing else I’ve ever experience in a rental, and the amount of activities we could experience around the house and its surroundings was perfect. We are so happy we stayed and can’t wait to come back again!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed for a week. The house was clean and inviting. The shower/bath was not as expected (needs an update) and the outside shower could use some love. In addition, the attic bedroom was musty smelling and the staircase was more of a ladder. We had a great time despite these issues. The house is very cute and clean and the location is great.

Stayed Jul 1, 2023We had a great time the week we stayed here. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our boys loved the upstairs bedroom/tv room to themselves. Nice location, we walked every morning with our dog. Very close to West Dennis Beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Aug 20, 2022The property was perfect for my family. My two boys (Age 6 & 7) loved the upstairs room. The stairs to go into their room were a bit step, but no issues. Outside was great to hang out for my wife and I after the kids went to bed. We loved the outdoor lighting. Outdoor shower was also huge when we came back from the beach which was a 3 minute drive. Awesome experience overall!
