We arrive an hour early for check-in and I contacted the host to see if we could check-in early and was told we could not due to many reservations. The house was already cleaned and waiting for our arrival. Host owns all three properties and noticed the guests arriving early as we were, were able to check-in. Out dated photo’s. Hardwood floors are uneven with some areas being held down with black duct tape. Bathroom downstairs handle fell off and my husband fixed it. Got locked in, in the upstairs bathroom after locking the lock. Had to push a knife under the door so he could get out. Kitchen was not stocked. Description of black makeup towels and face wipes being available and they were not. Had to continually contact the host who promised we would have them the next day and we did not. We received them the day before we checked out. Light furnishings were very dirty. Reached out to host after our stay and asked about a pair of glasses being left behind. It’s been five days and I am still waiting for an answer…

Listen, first of all, I get that many of these homes in Savannah are old and may not be perfect. We have rented several properties over the years, but this one was in such bad shape, that I don't understand how all the ratings were Excellent and 10/10. The floors were so soft and spongy, they seemed dangerous. They tried to repair some of the bigger cracks with duct tape. The dishwasher did not open all the way, as it hit the refrigerator, making it difficult to load/unload. We could hear every step taken in the unit next door/adjacent. Although listed as pet friendly, the cottage out back sits up on cinderblock pillars, so smaller dogs like ours could get under it and then out the back into the alley. I hate to give such a negative review, but it's not fair to other potential clients.

We really enjoyed staying in this home! The home has the charming character that is expected in an older home of this area. The location is great for walking to restaurants and shopping of Savannah. There are many parks within easy walking distance. The parking is on-street and it was never a problem to find a spot close to the front door.We would definitely stay again.

We spent a week here in February. The location is good with easy walking to the historic district. With temperatures into the upper 30’s at night, the heating in the lower level was insufficient and was about 10-15 degrees cooler than the upper level. The owners did provide a few portable heaters and extra blankets but it was a rude awakening each morning. We also had an issue with the next door neighbors who decided to crank up their music well after 11 pm for 2 consecutive nights. I finally had to knock on their front door at midnight to get them to stop. They never answered their door but they turned off the music. This property is also rented by the owners. The walls do not provide much in the way of noise insulation and we could hear a lot of noise from their unit. While we enjoyed the surrounding area, we will chose a different property if we return.

The home was exactly what you would expect. We had a great experience walking downtown entered around the city. Definitely an older home so don't be surprised when the floor makes Little Creek and there may be a little bit uneven. The house is probably close to 200 years old so she certainly should be expected. This was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be part of what it meant to be in Savannah in this house. Gives you that feeling as well. What a great stay.

Great location and very comfortable beds! Enjoyed the proximity to Forsyth Park and the historic district. Our host was very responsive to inquiries. It’s an old house with uneven floors and not a lot of natural light. All the appliances worked well though the washer had a musty smell. We were provided with plenty of linens. Biggest disappointment was there wasn’t a blender for breakfast smoothies…

It’s very well kept and quiet especially when we went around the 4th of July we were not sure what to expect. Highly recommended staying here if you are looking for a great walkable area to stay when visiting Savannah!

This space is ideal for anyone whose goal is to experience the beautiful historic center of Savannah. It’s located perfectly - about a 2 minute walk to the nearest square, and only a few minutes more to Forsyth. Situated on a clean, safe quiet street. It also has a nice kitchen, and the Kroger’s supermarket is an easy 10 minute walk away. We slept very well. The owners were extremely accommodating and super responsive. Can’t recommend this place enough!
