The quaint cottage in the rural setting was just what we wanted for our getaway. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. We didn't get to meet our host, but her pre-visit communications and information were exceptional.

Beautifully appointed peaceful cottage. Everything about this cottage was gorgeous - we'd have no hesitation in coming back, deserves much more than 5 stars. Quality furnishings, fabulous decor - just everything was special. Quiet setting with lovely views, as well as nature & wildlife. Excellent communication with host. Highly recommend.

We stayed at The Reverie in Kyneton over the long weekend and absolutely loved it. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated — every detail was thoughtfully chosen and it felt so welcoming. The host went above and beyond, leaving us lovely gifts like biscuits, popcorn, breakfast items, and milk. The house was stocked with everything you’d need, making it feel just like home. The location was peaceful and private, set on a quiet farm with stunning views all around. Town centre was close by as were wineries and hikes. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay — highly recommend The Reverie to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful in all the details of the property, you’ll love it!

The cottage was stunning! Exactly as described and also the wildlife that greeted us was an added bonus! Deb and Steve were very helpful in suggesting and matching places and dinning that we were interested in and the communication was great. I would highly recommend this property and am looking forward to visiting again!

We spent the Easter long weekend at The Reverie just outside of Kyneton. The property has undergone a thoughtful and high quality renovation and was fitted out with lovely furnishings and plentiful kitchen supplies. We were very comfortable in our own small acreage featuring a short drive to town and great walking trails on the doorstep. A major attraction for us to book was a kitchen with an oven and cooktop as we hosted our family Easter Sunday lunch. The kitchen was exceptional with plenty of dinnerware and cooking utensils and our hosts were very helpful providing an additional chair for our lunch. Being actually in the countryside was lovely - quiet, lots of birdsong and the roos were a plenty. We will return.

This charming unassuming cottage is beautifully and stylishly presented with attention to detail. It was immaculately clean with a very cosy feel oozing with character.Very generous hamper of gourmet products, lovely selection of teas, and we loved the quirky and interesting selection of books.Adding to the experience were the kangaroos grazing in the garden

The Reverie is a very special place to unwind and relax. As soon as you walk through the front door you feel like you have arrived home. Deb and Steve have sympathetically renovated this character cottage and created a comfortable haven where you can leave behind your worries and simply unwind. Their attention to detail in terms of comfort, utilities and an eclectic range of books are second to none. Kangaroo complement this delightful little cottage, as do the surrounding views. We valued Deb and Steve’s guidance and local knowledge which ensured an absolutely wonderful time away from home. Big, big thanks

Our stay at the Reverie was even better than we ever imagined. From the moment we walked through the door it was obvious that our hosts Deb and Steve and given much thought and spent much time thinking of everything to create the most beautiful home. No expense has been spared on the decor and fittings and there is everything you could need to relax and enjoy your time there. The open fire was set and a lovely welcome basket were great touches as were the fresh posies of flowers in every room. The outdoor surroundings were very well kept and so lovely to see kangaroos grazing on the front garden. A short 5 minute drive into the township makes it a perfect place to stay if travelling to Kyneton. I would definitely return to and recommend The Reverie.
