Quiet, beautifully furnished loft-style retreat in the centre of town with large garden and chickens. Modern bathroom with bath and basic kitchen facilities, including kettle, toaster, ceramic hotplate and microwave.

Guests have private use of self-contained loft style studio and garden.

We live at the front of the property in a separate house and are available for information to guests and can arrange tours on request.

Kyneton has the best of a rural town with contemporary fine dining and cultural experiences, including the Kyneton Music Festival.

It is very easy to get around the town by foot or bike and there is a train (Bendigo line) that leaves from Melbourne on a frequent basis. From the airport it is possible to get a bus to Sunbury and connect with the train service.

We absolutely loved our stay, everything was clean and well maintained. We stayed as 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog and the place was a great size with an even better backyard including chicken coop that the kids adored. Genevieve was lovely and courteous to our needs and was very understanding, lots of lovely touches to the place - nothing was a problem. We would definitely stay again!

A fantastic 3 days in this idyllic little cottage. Incredibly quiet and cosy. And a short walk to the main streets of Kyneton Mollison and Piper st. Would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time at Harpsichord House, really enjoyed the wood fireplace and the handy guide to Kyneton! Really well furnished, and was the purfect place to bring our dog as the yard is fully enclosed. The host was very easy to deal with and was only an email or text away if we needed guides or suggestions for our stay. Would highly recommend!
