Stayed Mar 14, 2026First time staying in the downtown area and it was great. It was almost too convenient as walking to shops and restaurants were easy and we did it often after the days of adventuring. The host was great, we'd stay here again.

The outside was just as beautiful as the inside, and the river is just a short walk away. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025This is a great place to stay in Buena Vista. Close to the river and Surf hotel, perfect size kitchen and bedrooms were large enough for everyone. The porch was a nice bonus.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025The “Little Red House” fit our needs perfectly! We (grandparents) stayed upstairs, and our adult children and their children stayed in the 2 downstairs bedrooms. If you come in the summer the master suite has air conditioning. The main level and downstairs have constant cool breezes. Because we had 2 other adult children couples joining us on the vacation we had to stay in 2 places, but the best part of “The Little Red House” was a wonderful, breezy front porch where we visited every evening. Great memory maker!

Stayed Oct 13, 2024We had the best time staying here in BV! The house was a perfect location, so clean, and comfortable. Erin and Jim were great hosts! It had amazing views and we loved sitting outside and seeing all the deer that would stop by. Highly recommend staying here!
