The Palm - East Beach Private Retreat - Saltwater Pool, Hot Tub, Beach Access!

The house was absolutely perfect for our trip. The backyard area was unbelievable with the pool, ping pong tables, and corn hole boards. I would highly recommend this property. Close to golf courses, restaurant and the beach as well.

The weather was on the cooler side so had to pay for the pool to be heated, but it was worth it

The Palm is a delightful vacation getaway. The 7 of us--ages 34-72--enjoyed every bit of our stay. The owner has clearly taken great care in creating a high quality home, with attention to every detail. It is more expensive that some SSI properties, and it is absolutely worth it.

Group thought this was the nicest VRBO we have ever rented. John was proactive with communicating and very responsive to questions. Beds were very comfy. Everything super clean. Pool and spa were great. Kitchen is well appointed. Had a fun week.

Truly the best beach experience our family has experienced. The house is beautiful, well appointed and graciously offers all your needs to provide a relaxing and meaningful family experience.John, the host of this home was wonderful and went beyond when we realized we ( that would be me) had not booked properly and required an extra day. . He was so responsive patient and kind to ensure that the full week would happen.Very short walk to beautiful beach and the backyard with pool, hot tub, providing opportunities be outside when not having beach time.Also afforded some ping pong table competitions!There are quadrants to this home that offered each family privacy and quiet time.Thank you so very much for this experience.Very likely we will booking for our next beach trip.Something we have never agreed upon before! Thank you again for an amazing time.

Beautiful property. Well appointed. Location was great. Plenty of items and kitchen utensils because we cooked a lot while we were there. We had a family of 10. Six adults four kids, and it fit us extremely well.

Home had everything you need for a great vacation. Would book again in a heart beat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Palm this June! The house was a perfect fit for our family in every way. We loved that each bedroom had a king bed, and that there were bunk beds for the kids. Having a pool in the backyard was fantastic! Everything was well-appointed and I appreciated the great communication from the property manager. We hope to be back again!

This property and management group exceeded our expectations. The property was very clean and spacious for our large family and two small children. Everything from beach accessories to pool floats were provided. John Bailey was very proactive in communicating when the property was available and was easy to reach if we had any questions. We will definitely make this our annual beach trip rental in the future.

The house was beautifully updated, decorated and outfitted. I cannot say enough good things about our recent stay at the Palm! Communication with the owner was excellent. The property was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Most importantly, the location was outstanding with a quick walk or bike ride to the beach and the village shops and restaurants.The house is equipped with literally anything you might need for your stay - there are bikes, corn hole boards, and ping pong for the kids, as well as a beautiful pool with pool toys and a hot tub. There is an outside grill and fire pit as well. A beach cart, beach chairs and even a cool cabana tent were available for the beach. We cannot wait to return!

We totally enjoyed staying at this property . The backyard /pool area was well maintained and suited our needs perfectly .The hot tub was a huge plus .All the extra items including beach chairs and umbrella made a big difference for us since most of us flew to this location. We preferred walking or driving our golf cart to the 15th street beach access rather then the 11th Street one but both were within walking distance. All the bedrooms were really nice and more spacious then we had thought , just a great layout that met all our needs perfectly as we had 6 adults in our group. Could definitely accommodate many more in my opinion. No real complaints and would stay their again in the future.

Everything about our stay at the Palm was 10/10! We had a family group of 8 adults and 4 kids, so every bed was occupied. My wife and I travel with a big group of friends and stay at VRBO houses fairly often. This place was by far the most well stocked (kitchen hardware, beach gear, grill/grill tools, even a pair of bikes to use!) The pool and hot tub were beautiful, clean, well maintained, and pleasure to use all week. Super easy walk to a beautiful and very uncrowded stretch of beach. House is beautiful and very tastefully remodeled with high end finishes. Communication with owner was 100% - super responsive, super helpful, and super accommodating. We literally do not have a single complaint about our stay. Will definitely book again if we return to St. Simon!

We had an amazing stay at The Palm! The property is beautiful and well appointed. It had everything we needed. Each bedroom was decorated nicely. The backyard was a dream for entertaining children. The beach was also a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again! Great location too!

The outdoor space and the living space are fabulous. Our only issue (which was unique to us) was the bedrooms (other than the master) are small . The king size bed takes up most of the room. So in our case there wasn't enough room for the crib that we had rented in any of the bedrooms other than the master. That said, the house has great supplies for babies.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice quiet weekend at the Palm. The property is exactly as pictured. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the patio. The hot tub and pool area are clean and well maintained. The property management company was excellent and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

This house is in a great location, close to the beach and has a wonderful backyard for entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had four couples in town for our high school sons’ tournament. The house was a perfect fit. The living space is open and large. The back yard is dreamy. We enjoyed the hot tub and cornhole on our free evenings. We’re already planning our next trip!

This rental was just WOW! Everything about it was perfect and gorgeous! We are already looking at booking it again in a few months.

House was very well recently done over inside and out, with all high-end appliances. Very clean, nice linens, beds etc. We were very happy with the 5 bedrooms and especially the 4 king beds as everyone wants king beds! Had SNOW during our visit to Georgia, so the pool was not used, but looked great.

Our family had not had a vacation together in several years. We experienced a tragedy the previous Fall so this spot was a wonderful way for heal. The pool was great, we played ping pong, corn hole and swam or sunned at the pool. Short distance from beach.

The Palm exceeded our expectations in every way. We were offered an early check in on the day we arrived which gave us time to unpack and prepare for our kids and grandkids arrival. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. 4 king size bedrooms and a bunk room for the kids, all with crisp, clean and fresh linens. Bathrooms complete with towels and toiletries, hair dryers etc...We loved the pool and hot tub and used both every day. Enjoyed the bikes, golf cart and walks to the beach nearby. Appreciated the pool towels and the ability to do laundry whenever we needed to. We gathered around the solo stove and roasted marshmellows for smores, watched lots of football on the huge TV in the living room and even enjoyed the modern fireplace below the TV. The kitchen supplied every appliance, even a crockpot for meatballs...There is an extra fridge in the garage and even an extra dishwasher! The host was readily available for questions that arose and was extremely accommodating. This was truly the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. We hope to return to SSI and explore more parts of the island and hopefully stay in this lovely home again.

Beautiful house with a beautiful backyard. Comfortable beds and great amenities. It was a great place for my family to come together. Wish there was more seating in the living room and seating for people who struggle to get up and down. My Daddy had to sit in the dining room chairs all weekend and those are not for long term sitting. Other than that it’s amazing!

The Palm was the perfect house for our family of 5 with plenty of extra space. The layout is wonderful- with easy access to the backyard/pool and great spaces for relaxing and entertaining. The house was fully stocked and very clean. Look forward to staying here again and appreciate the communication from John Bailey!

The pics don’t do the house justice! Well appointed (everything you need and more!) and so comfortable. We went with two other families and everyone had their own space which was nice. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our VRBO exceeded our expectations which were high from the start! Prior to arrival, the host called two days prior to give us very detailed check in instructions which was so helpful and suggested local restaurants etc. The house itself was absolutely beautiful! We loved how clean and organized everything was! Felt like we were at home :) No need to bring any kitchen items with you because they had it all. We had 8 adults and three kids; 1,3 and 7. Very family friendly which we really appreciated. We brought our pack and play and had plenty of room for the kids. As someone who use to manage a boutique hotel, I appreciated all the nice touches all through the house. Our favorite was the bikes and beach wagon and clear instructions to the private 7 minute walk to the beach. They truly thought of everything! I highly recommend if you’re staying in St. Simon with family of friends! The host, John texted us the next day after checking in and that meant alot!

Nice pool and good neighborhood . The house comes with all you need to stay comfortably . We stayed 4 nights and had plenty to do just staying at the house . The beach is a nice walk and less than 5 minutes from the house .

Wonderful property with beautiful pool and great outdoor spaces. Very clean and comfortable. Great kitchen, grill and family area. We were caught in tropical storm Debbie with multiple family members and a toddler and there was enough to do in and around the house that we had a good time even during, the hurricane. Short drive to stores and restaurants. Easy walk to the beach.
