The Ohana Hut | Walk to Beach, Pet Friendly!

House was nice wasn’t impressed that the door code wasn’t input correctly and we couldn’t get in when we arrived but was taken care of quickly couldn’t get garage door open but that was fixed as well. Wasn’t a great first experience but it was fixed in a timely matter.

So much room for everyone to enjoy! Had everything we needed! We hope to stay here again on our next Port Aransas getaway!

The house had all the necessities. Cute neighborhood and right across from the community pool!

Ohana Hut took care of all of our needs during our stay in Port Aransas. The overall layout was perfect, with pool very near an added bonus!!The Ohana Hut could use a little updating with fresh interior paint and new upholstery updating for outdoor furniture. The keypad for the garage door did not work, we had to open the garage door from the inside.

The property is wonderful and very clean! The only issue we had was the Wi-Fi didn’t work. We did reset several times but still didn’t work. My husband ended up having to go home because he works from computer. Other than that it was a great week!

It was nice,accept we went without ac for over 24hours with no apologies or accommodations. Trash bags were not in some of the containers, zero tablets for dishwasher,only 2 washcloths and none for the kitchen.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. My only complaints are the following; the floors throughout the house were pretty dirty(basically, if you were barefoot your feet were blackish from dirt), the outlet on side of kitchen island was super loose and would come out, the large coffee maker downstairs was inoperative(only super small one worked) & the golf cart provided was rather janky(I.e. steering was difficult and it would jerk really hard when you went from a stopped position to accelerate) Other that that, it was fine.

Everything was fantastic. That is a nice location and the house is perfect for two families. Plenty of room for two families. Would have given it 5 stars if there was a working can opener and the golf cart wasn't so janky. It def needs to be serviced. We would have asked to switch it out but figured it came with the house and didn't have a choice. It stalls out when you hit the gas. And that isn't like once in a while. It's literally every trip you take. Once you hit the brake be prepared to hit the gas several times to make it go.

Couple of things. House was perfect! Golf cart only had 1/2 tank of gas and the garage door needs attention as it will not automatically go down. Might also need to update instructions for A/C and TV. Just suggestions but we would definitely stay there again.
