The Loft at Golden Meadows Farm - Ideally located between Durango and Pagosa

Excellent location and beautiful, secluded property. A few minutes from Vallecito Reservoir and trails. Also, close to Durango and Pagosa Springs. The farm fresh eggs and farm animals were an added bonus. The beds were comfortable. The house had everything a person might need. Their personal house is nearby, but they were very conscientious and private. Very good communication.

This is the third VRBO that I have rented in Bayfield, and it was by far the best! The farm location was beautiful, the inside was large and cozy, the kitchen and bathroom were roomy and well equiped. My mom loves the kitchen, my wife loved the loft, and my baby loved the cat.This is the most comfortable VRBO I have ever rented and I will looking for it next time I am in town.

We had a great stay. A nice place to come back and relax after a long day. Being greeted by cats, chickens and horses was the best part. The host provided delicious eggs from their chickens. I really like the surrounding forest and meadows and very comfortable indoor and outdoor furnishings. We definitely will be back!

The Loft is perfect place if you want to have a peaceful getaway and experience a piece of Colorado paradise! My husband and I so enjoyed the modern and comfy space- so clean! The horses and chickens practically right outside the windows were a bonus. I also loved the little touches like fresh farm eggs and the fire pit on the patio. Thank you for such a relaxing stay. We are sure to come back!

Our stay at The Loft was wonderful! Space was very clean and well maintained.It is located on a quiet and serene property with loads of trees. There are also very friendly farm animals nearby. Don’t hesitate to book a reservation at this lovely property. You won’t regret it!

Words can’t even describe the charm and just everything about this property. You feel like you’re in your own little World with no one around except the animals and nature and pure beauty - yet the Host is just steps away- you’d never know it! I will be back! Beautifully designed and maintained loft in a serene country setting with friendly farm animals. Location was easy to find and close to recreation and food options. Communication with Host was very easy and loft was very clean. Everything you needed for a comfy stay was available in the loft. Will definitely recommend to others and hope to visit again soon.

The Loft is just as amazing as it seemed in the ad. The property is peaceful and beautiful, located just a short, scenic drive from the Durango area. The living area was clean, up to date, and had all of the amenities and comforts of home. The farm animals on the property only added to the charm of the place. Our hosts were friendly, communicative, and provided everything we needed to make our stay great. The only minor drawback (through no fault of our host) would be the spotty internet. Not a big deal since we didn't go on vacation to be on the internet, but pointing it out just incase anyone is thinking about working remotely or can't be without their streaming services.

An absolutely phenomenal place to stay. The place itself was clean and updated. The animals on the property were friendly and fun. The host was great, answering questions about the area.

We had a wonderful time at the Loft. It was extremely clean, had all the amenities you needed, and was in a beautiful location. The host was very responsive to all of our needs and questions. My two boys loved the loft with the spiral staircase as well as the cats and goats. All in all, I would recommend this great place to anyone! It is a short easy drive to Durango!

This is a great property! We enjoyed the chickens, goats, horses and cats. Perfect place to stay when visiting the Bayfield area. The house was so carefully put together and we did not need anything. The fresh eggs in our refrigerator was a great touch! Thank you

The Loft is a wonderful place to stay. It’s so peaceful and beautiful! We had deer outside our door every morning. There were farm fresh eggs in the fridge for us when we arrived. They were delicious, so much better than what you buy in the store! I highly recommend if anyone is looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature, this is the place. Close to Durango, there are many this to see and do in the area.

Family of 4 worked stayed. This rental worked well for our hub while exploring. Owners were very helpful they suggestions were our fav hikes! Highly recommend and would stay again.

We absolutely loved staying here. The loft was gorgeous and immaculately clean. We loved the animals also! The fresh eggs made the perfect breakfast in the morning. The house had all the supplies we needed to cook some fish we caught locally as well. We will definitely be staying again when we are in town.

Such a cozy place that felt like home.

Staying at this loft was a wonderful experience. It’s surrounded by nature, with adorable chickens, goats, horses, and even a cat. We also enjoyed watching a flock of turkeys cross the yard each afternoon. The rooms and furniture were clean and comfortable, and we loved starting our mornings with fresh coffee and eggs provided by the owner. This loft truly made our trip memorable!

We so enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Loft! The beds were cozy, the farm fresh eggs were delicious, and we loved feeding the goats & horses. Bayfield was the perfect spot for our Jeep adventures near Durango and Silverton. Don’t miss dinner at the Mill Street Bistro!

We really enjoyed our stay at Golden Meadows Farm. Fabulous scenery, fun interactions with goats, chickens and livestock. The loft was well designed, clean and functional. My nonagenarian mother stated it was the best decorated space she had ever stayed in. The owner are very friendly and accommodating.
