Stayed Dec 25, 2025The whole cottage was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Water drainage was good and the kitchen utensils were well stocked. The place looked exactly like the images posted. We came to this cottage for a Christmas getaway and got heavily snowed in on Boxing Day, and Sarah and John offered to come with a snow blower to get us out. It was a perfect, cozy, and warm getaway for the winter. The lake nearby was also very close and pretty in the winter. We’d definitely recommend! We’d love to come back and experience the cottage in the summer as well!

Stayed Jul 13, 2025We ended up spending more at The Little Red Cottage than expected simply because it was such a lovely spot. The large front porch and back deck were perfect for lounging and conversation. The inside was immaculate and well stocked. I loved that the kitchen knifes were actually sharp, there was extra toilet paper provided, there were lots of towels (beach towels and bath towels) and the mattresses were new and comfortable - no big valley in the middle! I highly, highly recommend this spot. And Fenelon Falls is adorable with good restaurants.
