Cozy cottage on Burnt River with hot tub & sauna

My family and I (plus one happy dog) enjoyed our stay very much! We enjoyed all the amenities: hot tub, sauna, kayaks, smart tv.We relaxed, and swam, and escaped from stress. We appreciated the privacy of the backyard and while swimming, with some boats to wave to as they came by periodically. We abided by the fire ban and did not have a fire. We went into the town of Fenelon Falls 3 times for various items, lunch at Murphy’s, and shopping for antiques and treasures.I would love to return next year!

The property is even better than the pictures and coziness of the cottage, great kitchen for us cooks , comfy bed, nice bathrooms and entertainment options including a really nice hot tub and sauna! What a relaxing stay !!

Overall, a beautiful, well kept cottage. Had everything we needed. The owner was responsive to my questions. It would have been helpful if the owner advised me that someone would be on the property to cut the grass during my stay. There were also four adults still on the property when I arrived at 4pm looking for a cell phone. Not a huge deal, but communication regarding these two things would have been appreciated.

Short but sweet time with family

We couldn't wait until summer to grab a little RnR from our daily grind. This was the perfect winter getaway for our family. Our hosts , George and Suzi , have the perfect spot along the Burnt River with a very comfortable and well equipped cottage with delightful amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves having a midday campfire beside the river , playing backyard games , reading books and playing with our puppy. We spent our evenings enjoying the warmth of the hot tub and sauna then curling up inside in front of the fireplace while we watched movies and sipped on adult beverages. We were surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature and it was so relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend ! Thank you again to George and Suzi . You were wonderful hosts !

Cozy cottage perfect for a quick getaway.

Lovely spot, nice decorated, very clean. All the kitchen amenities you need

When we arrived the cottage was spotless which we found great. Beds were comfortable and most everything you could want in the kitchen was there. The hot tub was nice. But if you are a swimmer you don't want to go here. The water was about 2 feet off the end of the dock. Which we could of handled but there was more seaweed then I have ever seen at a cottage before which made it impossible to swim. If you are not a swimmer then this is a great place for you to stay at.

We loved our week at this riverfront cottage! We canoed and kayaked almost daily and the hot tub was an amazing way to unwind at the end of the day. The house is on a private cul-de-sac with a handful of other houses nearby - so its nice and quiet but not totally isolated. The road is great for walking the dogs and stretching your legs. The kitchen is very nice and they have all the plates, utensils and small appliances you need! We loved that linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, Kleenex, and beach towels were provided! But if you use face cloths, bring your own as they are not provided. Also - they do have some hangers, but if you like to hang up all your tops, you should bring some more with you. The house is close to Coboconk and Felelon Falls - so there is a lot to see nearby.
