Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property layout, setup & furnishings are lovely & it was a real treat to holiday in the gorgeous property. However the sofas are in need of a good clean, which one would have thought would’ve been done during the lockdown period. In places there’s unfortunately a smell coming from the sofas, not sure what it was but it was unpleasant. When we stripped one of the beds we were surprised to see that the pillows didn’t have protectors on & were extremely stained. The door knob to the ensuite was difficult to open from the outside when the door was closed & the shower controls over the bath could do with some tlc or replacement. The dog barking next door between 5-6am every morning was a shame but you obviously have no control over that. It seems a shame to bring these things to your attention however I guess you want honest feedback. However there’s no taking away that it’s a gorgeous property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was a good place for a winter break in a great location for walks on the beach and across the marshes. The house is really spacious and well equipped although a touch tired in places (like the carpets and sofas downstairs). The local!pubs are within very easy walking distance and serve good food and good beer. Ideal fro a relaxing break
