This disappointing review is unfortunate. Before we had even arrived on site I had received a phone call the fridge was not working and a “spare fridge” was on site until a new fridge was delivered. When we arrived with groceries for 10 women for 4 days the spare fridge was a small bar fridge! Floors were ere not clean and no extra cleaning supplies on site, not even a dish cloth or a broom. The kitchen was extremely under stocked with not even enough cutlery, plates or glasses. After multiple contacts to YourPard they continued to drop off supplies to the front door. Very apologetic and quick to respond however, why is the guest having to do this? When renting a house this large to sleep 10 you’d think it would be stocked with basic supplies. Sunday morning 8:30am someone banging on the front door..my phone rings it’s a fridge being delivered with no warning of this delivery and a house of girls is this safe to open the door in a big city without notification? My text on the phone reads open the door they can’t get in and will leave the fridge outside if you don’t open and let them I. This house is also only feet from a huge construction site and work taking place around the clock due to the summer heat. YES..trucks beeping, the house shacking all night long! So thankful we made the best of it and this rental property didn’t hinder our vacation weekend!

The property worked really well for our Charleston trip. It was a good location to King Street, traveling to Folley Beach, Liberty Square and Patriots Point. The house was perfect space for our teenagers, the grandparents and my husband and I in regards to the number of beds and bathrooms. The house is beautifully decorated. The construction behind the house and next to it was still occurring. They were laying the foundations. Constituted at 7am. While we were aware that construction was happening during January, I had hopes that it would be possible that it would be completed during our stay.

The house is SURROUNDED by commercial construction. There is a construction fence inches, not feet, from the steps of the house and full length of the driveway. Every window has the blinds drawn and drapes shut to block view of construction. None of that is shown in the photos. The featured photo of rooftop patio is laughable. You would never sit up there with the construction crews all around you working. They start at 7:30 and the house shakes. The road and therefor the driveway was blocked 3 of the 4 days we were there. It was not ideal for our family vacation. Couldn’t hang in the house until after dark. Each time I reached out to see about making other arrangements I heard back a day later which made it too late to book another place. Eventually I gave up and decided to not spend my whole trip on the house. They offered nothing to make it right.

The house itself was clean and well-appointed, but the listing’s description of nearby construction is extremely misleading. Major construction is happening just six feet from three sides of the home, with loud work starting as early as 6:53 AM and sometimes continuing through the night. The constant beeping, heavy equipment noise, and relentless pounding of concrete pillars shake the house all day. When we contacted management about the disruption and asked for compensation, we were simply offered earplugs. Had we known the full extent of the noise and vibration, we never would have booked. Avoid this property if you’re looking for a restful stay.

The home was nice and clean, and the proximity to King Street was great! Very walkable.Only big complaint here was being woken up Monday morning at 7:20am to the entire house shaking. Major construction was going on less than 50 feet from our windows with machines busting up concrete. Everything was shaking and rattling like an earthquake. Sleeping was impossible after this began. The view from the outside rooftop/patio was just a huge construction zone. Of course construction next door is not the fault of the homeowners, but we did feel like we should have been warned as it was a very startling way to wake up.
